Mathematical core literacy are the correct values,essential qualities,and key abilities that students gradually develop through mathematical learning.Mathematical modeling literacy,one of the six mathematical core literacy,can promote students to better communicate with the mathematical world,and strengthen their application of mathematical knowledge and skills to the real world.In this paper,the literature review method is used to analyze the background of mathematical modelling literacy and the development of mathematical modeling activities in senior high school.The teaching principles of mathematical modeling and literacy in senior high school are determined.Then,mathematical modeling preparation,simple modeling and typical modeling are proposed.The four-phase teaching strategy of modeling and synthesis modeling allow students to gradually form and improve mathematical modeling literacy in the process of mathematical learning.Based on them,it proposes to build a mathematical modeling environment before class,and to apply mathematical modeling in class.Thinking and after-school activities present teaching suggestions for the entire process of mathematical modeling.In this paper,the case analysis method is used to first analyze the requirements of the mathematical modelling literacy of 2017 “Ordinary High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards”;then the mathematics textbooks are summarized according to 4 main lines and a total of 13 models.The teaching suggestions for constructing mathematical modeling atmosphere,the students' self-study before class,the classroom setting,and the extension of the lesson.Based on them,a teaching case about the sequence model and its application is written.This paper inspires teachers to combine the characteristics of students in teaching design and classroom teaching,to integrate practical problems into teaching,and to strengthen the cultivation of students' mathematical modeling literacy.
