With the development of the times,society's requirements for talents are constantly changing.Labor literacy has become an important part of the necessary comprehensive quality of talents in the new era,and labor education is being paid more and more attention to.Labor education can help students to establish a correct concept of labor,reserve labor knowledge,improve their labor skills and develop good labor habits.More importantly,these are of great significance in cultivating students' innovative spirit and practical ability.In March 2020,the State Council issued the Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Schools and Universities in the New Era,stating that labor education will be a compulsory subject in schools and universities,marking the formalisation of labor education as a “compulsory subject”.However,the practice of labor education in schools shows that there are still some problems in the process of implementing labor education,especially the failure to establish a management mechanism adapted to the requirements of labor education,which hinders the effective implementation of labor education.Therefore,the exploration and establishment of effective labor education management mechanism has become an important subject.To study the management mechanism of high school labor education,we should take the reform of high school labor education management mode as the research object.Through a combination of labor education policies and literature combing,theoretical analysis and empirical investigation and research,a detailed investigation and analysis of labor education in high schools is carried out,taking Qingdao S High School as an example.Firstly,it explores the connotation and value of labor education in the new era,and lays a theoretical foundation for deepening the study of the labor education model and its corresponding management mechanism in high schools.Secondary research combines the requirements set out in Guidelines for Labor Education in Colleges,Primary and Secondary Schools(Trial Implementation)as the basis for evaluating the effectiveness of labor education,that is,from the four aspects of labor education objectives,labor education content,labor education implementation management and labor education evaluation.A combination of questionnaires and interviews is used to investigate whether the effectiveness of labor education has been ensured after its inclusion in the compulsory curriculum of schools and universities,including the identification of problems in the implementation and management of labor education in senior secondary schools.Furthermore,the study will analyse the causes of the problems affecting the effectiveness of labor education in senior secondary schools in the context of the actual situation of senior secondary schools,and identify the ways to improve the management mechanism.Finally,the study proposes strategies for optimizing the management mechanism of labor education in senior secondary schools and improving the effectiveness of labor education in four aspects: labor education objectives,content,implementation and management,and evaluation.The results of the survey show that the implementation of labor education in high schools has achieved some success,and that the implementation of labor education is more in line with the new requirements imposed on labor education by the state after the inclusion of labor education in the compulsory curriculum,however,there are also some limitations.Furthermore,the awareness of labor among some students is still insufficient,the types of labor education activities are relatively homogeneous,the implementation of labor education initiatives in the management of labor implementation is inadequate,the management mechanism of staff and home-school cooperation is lacking,and the evaluation results of labor education tend to be formal.With theoretical analysis and empirical research as the basis,this study proposes strategies to optimize the management mechanism of labor education in high schools and improve the effectiveness of labor education,with the following recommendations.Firstly,in terms of the objectives of labor education,education managers need to change their educational philosophy and raise the status of labor education.Secondly,in terms of the content of labor education,schools should play the role of managers,create more labor opportunities for students,increase the development of productive labor activities and guarantee students' service labor practices.Thirdly,with regard to the management of labor education implementation,one is to fully develop the labor curriculum and encourage the infiltration of labor education in the teaching of subjects;secondly,to ensure that students' labor activities are carried out on time and in quantity;thirdly,to train professional teachers and improve the system of professional teachers;fourthly,the state and schools should work together to develop more labor places;fifthly,to develop ways to supervise labor education through home-school cooperation and to strengthen the collaboration between schools and society.Fourthly,in terms of assessment of labor education,the first is to improve the assessment system at different levels to ensure effective implementation of assessment;the second is to enrich student assessment methods to enhance the effectiveness of labor education.Based on the above,the study proposes strategies to optimize the management mechanism of labor education in senior secondary schools and improve the effectiveness of labor education from the four directions of labor education objectives,content,implementation management and evaluation,in order to provide more pathways for the effective implementation of labor education in senior secondary schools,with a view to providing a basis for solving the problems existing in the management of labor education in senior secondary schools and providing valuable reference for improving students' labor literacy.
