"The combination of education and productive labor" is the objective law of the development of modern society,which transcends the social political and economic system and exists in both capitalist society and socialist society.However,its main practice carrierschool labor education,is carried out in a specific social and historical environment.Entering the new era,labor education has become an important part of the comprehensive training system of "moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and labor".It plays a new role,undertakes a new mission and is bound to encounter new problems.At present,in the new era of the initial stage,school labor education is facing many challenges.Behind its vigorous development,there are all kinds of formalization,hollowing out and fragmentation phenomena,forming a huge contrast between high investment and low effectiveness.Therefore,it is an important issue to respond positively to the theory and reality to promote the development of school labor education in the new era.Based on the new forms of labor and the new characteristics of students in the new era,this study refers to the "Taylor Principle",that is,the scientific procedure of educational activities of "determining educational objectives","selecting educational experience","organizing educational experience" and "evaluating educational plans",and this study makes an overall theoretical construction and practical discussion on school labor education from the aspects of school labor education goals,school labor education contents,school labor education implementation and school labor education evaluation,so as to promote the scientificization,normalization and normalization of school labor education.To respond to the theory and reality of school labor education in the new era,the premise is to define its connotation and essence,and the basis is to reflect on its historical experience and lessons.School labor education is an educational practice with "labor" as the core.Different from the general sense of pure knowledge or general education activities,school labor education is a specialized educational practice of national education.It has a clear ideological direction,that is,to spread and cultivate the Marxist concept of labor.This paper also systematically combs the theoretical and practical achievements of school labor education,excavates the development law and construction experience of school labor education and provides historical reference for the construction of school labor education in the new era.At the theoretical response level,this paper constructs a holistic theory of school labor education in the new era,and systematically analyzes the objectives,contents,implementation and evaluation of school labor education.First,the main goal of school labor education is to guide students to establish a scientific concept of labor.School labor education has been alienated as a tool of political movement,narrowed into a carrier of learning production skills,virtualized into a means of educational punishment and generalized into a way of comprehensive social practice.All these have been proved by history to be contrary to the objective law of labor education.In the new era,school labor education should put the allround development of human beings in a prominent position,return to the essence of education from material and technical utilitarian pursuit,guide students to understand "why work" and establish correct labor values;identify with "who works" and establish a correct concept of labor subject;understand "how to work" and establish a correct concept of labor process;understand "how to work" and establish a correct view of labor rights and interests.Second,the construction of school labor education content should go beyond the "tool" orientation,return to the "people-oriented" orientation and be based on the labor quality of students in the new era.The content of school labor education includes labor and human history,labor and life,labor and society,labor and ethics,and is organized through daily life labor,production labor,service labor and so on.In order to improve the effectiveness of education,we should further optimize the content of school labor education in the new era,which is not only integrated with nature,dialogue with life,but also connected with society and embedded with occupation;it is not only in line with the tradition,but also in the same direction with the future.Third,the implementation of school labor education is an integrated process,which has a strong dynamic.In order to improve the effectiveness of the implementation of school labor education,we should dig out the crux of its dilemma,put forward scientific and effective countermeasures,improve the security system and promote the innovation of the evaluation system.In response to the reality,in view of the problems of school labor education in the new era,this paper not only makes macro strategic thinking from a long-term perspective,but also puts forward standardized measures from the specific operational level.In the face of complex situation,there are many problems in the practice of school labor education,such as attaching importance to "labor" rather than "education",attaching importance to "mental labor" rather than "physical labor",attaching importance to "personal practice" rather than "collective labor",attaching importance to "hard work and blind work" rather than "characteristic development" and attaching importance to "high-profile progress" rather than "overall planning",etc.,which leads to the dilemma of formalization,one-sidedness,instrumentalization,hollowing out and fragmentation.Therefore,schools should establish curriculum standards and optimize the curriculum structure of labor education;adapt to the new form of labor,expand labor education platform;based on the new characteristics of students,innovate labor education methods.In addition,we should also build a multi collaborative operation mechanism of family,school and society,a labor education mechanism of integrated development of universities,primary and secondary schools,and a scientific and reasonable evaluation system to ensure the standardized and normalized development of school labor education.The theory and practice of school labor education in the new era are mutual.In order to improve the effectiveness,scientific labor education theory should be used to guide the development of school labor education practice.At the same time,the development of school labor education practice will further promote the enrichment and improvement of school labor education theory.Therefore,the theoretical and practical exploration of school labor education is not once and for all.It needs to be based on the needs of the times and achieve sustainable development in the long-term interaction.
