The Ministry of Education clearly proposes to vigorously promote 3D printing courses in the Guidance Outline of Comprehensive Practical Activities Curriculum for Primary and Secondary Schools.The characteristics,mature framework and supported methods and tools of design thinking as a scientific method system make it possible to integrate design thinking into 3D printing courses.This study aims to combine design thinking with primary school 3D printing curriculum,expand the application field ofdesign thinking,and enrich the research of3D printing education in primary school.Based on this,the following two research questions are closely centered on:(1)How to integrate the design thinking framework and thinking methods into the teaching activities of 3D printing courses in primary schools?(2)Is the design thinking based teaching activity design of primary school 3D printing course scientific and feasible?Does the implementation of its activities have a positive effect on the development of students' grasp of basic knowledge,creativity and problem-solving ability?Literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and other research methods were used to carry out the following research work:(1)To construct a design thinking based design framework for teaching activities of primary school 3D printing course.Through literature research and under the inspiration of constructivism learning theory,"learning by doing" theory and activity theory,the design principles of teaching activities and the design thinking frame work applicable to 3D printing courses in primary schools are taken as the basic,and the five elements of teaching activity design are combined to design specific teacher-student activity links.(2)Practice and analyze the design thinking based framework of teaching activities of primary school 3D printing course.Combined with the teaching content of primary school 3D printing course,practice the design framework,write the teaching activity plan based on design thinking,and take the 3D community class of A primary school in Wuhan City,Hubei Province as the teaching object implementation plan.Recycling questionnaire survey method,interview method and statistical analysis method with the result of teaching activity implementation,quantitative and qualitative analysis to test based on 3 d printing design thinking of elementary school curriculum teaching design is scientific and can hold,judge activities for students to master basic knowledge,c reativity,has a positive role in development of problem solving ability,Suggestions are put forward according to the implementation process and results.The final result of the research is to build a design thinking based teaching activity design framework for primary school 3D printing course,which mainly includes five design thinking steps:"perception problem-definition problem-conception plan-realization of creation-sharing and communication",and the corresponding teaching activity links(1)creation situation,perception phenomenon;(2)C larify needs and define problems;(3)Brainstorm and design scheme;(4)Prototype making to realize creativity;(5)Demonstration and sharing,evaluation and communication.By using basic knowledge test,5 c ability inventory,creative personality self-report scale test and investigation to the students,combining students' self evaluation,interview after class,3 d works such as data to determine the activities to promote students to master basic knowledge,develop the students creativity,problem solving,team cooperation ability,has a positive impact on teaching results.Through theoretical exploration and practical research on the integration of design thinking into 3D printing courses in primary schools,it is expected to provide reference for deve lopers or researchers of 3D printing courses in primary schools and even middle schools,and provide new directions for the development of 3D printing education in China,so as to realize its important value of cultivating social talents.
