Rejuvenating the country through education shows that education carries the hope of the country,and the teacher community plays a vital role in the spread of social culture and the cultivation of talents,and shoulders the important task of revitalizing the national culture.The teacher group is an important professional group for university research in the Republic of China period.But currently,the academic research on this group is not comprehensive and in-depth,and has broad research value and significance.The National Central University is the most important institution of higher learning in the Republic of China,and it is also the national university with the most complete,largest and typical Chinese department in the National University of China.It was a typical national university.This article takes the teacher group of the Department of Education of National Central University from 1928 to 1949 as the research object,mainly from the flow of teacher groups,the geographical and academic structure of teachers,the teaching role of teachers,and the social role of teachers,trying to build a history And dynamic picture of the teacher group,so as to find answers to the questions of the teacher group of the National Central University 's education department,and then to examine the actual living conditions of the teacher group during the Republic of China period,explore the group 's own characteristics and the development of higher education during the Republic of China period,At the same time,it plays an important role in exploring the development of educational disciplines.This article is divided into four parts to study the faculty of the National Central University Department of Education.The methods used are literature research,historical research and case research.The first part mainly examines the flow of teachers in the Department of Education,National Central University.According to the time dimension,we study the inflow of teachers during the establishment of the Central University,the outflow of teachers during the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War and the return of some teachers during the demobilization of Nanjing.The establishment of the National Government in Nanjing has laid a good political foundation and a good academic environment for the establishment of the Central University.As a result,the faculty of the Department of Education has been greatly enriched,the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan,and the turbulent environment led to the education The outflow of faculty teachers,and the demobilization and return to Ning after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War,the faculty of the Department of Education once again experienced a small-scale return.Based on the above three time periods,we explore the flow of teachers in the Department of Education of the Central University in different periods,from which we can glimpse the flow of university teachers in the Republic of China and the development of higher education.The second part is the structural analysis of the faculty group of the Department of Education,National Central University.The content of this chapter is based on the structural analysis of the faculty of the Department of Education,National Central University in 1932,including the geography and academic structure of teachers.Teachers from the Department of Education mostly come from regions in Jiangsu and Zhejiang.This is not only related to the actual geographical advantages at that time,but also related to the development of industry and commerce in Jiangsu and Zhejiang during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the importance of education.In terms of academic structure,teachers in the Department of Education generally accepted University education,and nearly half of the teachers have overseas study experience,most of them have obtained master's and doctorate degrees from famous foreign institutions of higher learning,while taking into account domestically experienced teachers.And the teaching team of the Department of Education is mainly composed of young and middle-aged teachers,which to a certain extent guarantees the quality and efficiency of teaching work.It is precisely under the leadership of such a team of high-level teachers that the Faculty of Education of Central University has achieved sustained development and has become one of the main sources of primary and secondary school teachers in the Republic of China period.The third part analyzes the educational role of the teachers in the Department of Education,National Central University.It mainly starts with the daily teaching activities of university teachers to analyze the educational role assumed by teachers.In combination with the actual teaching and education of teachers in the Department of Education of Central University,it is analyzed that it mainly undertakes teaching reformers,academic researchers and educational experiments.Three aspects.First of all,under the premise of focusing on basic courses,teachers of the Department of Education will combine teaching practice and educational theory into three teaching forms of teaching theory,public publication of important papers,and translation of foreign doctrines and teaching materials;The publication "Education Quarterly" has formed a good atmosphere for teachers and students to learn together;actively established experimental education and continuously innovated teaching methods and teaching theories,which played an indelible role in enriching the development of educational disciplines.This article analyzes the role and identity of teachers in education based on the above three aspects.The fourth part analyzes the social roles assumed by the faculty of the Department of Education,National Central University.Starting from the social and political environment at that time,teachers of the Department of Education are thought leaders when facing national difficulties,helping students to establish correct and rational patriotic thoughts and devoting their own strength;in terms of social and political participation,they are actively involved in realistic political movements Go to China,actively participate in social and political movements in the form of "barrel dress",play the role of one's own experience and knowledge,and seek the road to national salvation by one's own academics.When interacting with students and colleagues,he is a warm moral builder and a learner who pursues progress.From these two aspects,we analyze the social activities of teachers of the education department in addition to their own work teaching,and strive to show the complete real life appearance of the teachers of the education department.The concluding part focuses on further combing the comprehensive characteristics of the faculty group of the Department of Education,National Central University,and analyzing the actual and complete life outlook of the group.On this basis,it is of great significance for understanding the internal motivation of the development of modern education disciplines.It has a certain reference significance for promoting the comprehensive development of teachers and solving problems in the process of modernization.
