Under the wave of information education,information technology subjects and information technology teachers are getting more and more attention.Researchers have begun to focus on the emotional needs of IT teachers,and emotional needs have been found to be an important demand for the professional development of it novice teachers.This study analyzes the emotional experience of five novice information technology teachers in their teaching experience.This paper explores the types of occupational emotional experience of novice information technology teachers in primary and secondary schools,sorts out the key experiences that lead to these emotional experiences,and puts forward the strategies to promote the emotional experience for the professional development of novice information technology teachers.Around the above research purpose.The research uses the literature research method to organize relevant literature on novice teachers and teachers' professional emotions,combed the relevant research on the professional development of novice teachers.Then the thinking and research framework of this study are determined.Based on qualitative research methods,data were collected through semi-structured interviews.Using NVivo 12 qualitative analysis software to encode the interview source materials,the occupational emotional experience of the novice teachers of information technology and its impact on professional development are thoroughly investigated.This study draws the following conclusions by analyzing the interview data:(1)There are eight kinds of occupational emotional experience for novice teachers of information technology in primary and secondary schools: excitement,encouragement,comfort,pride,irritability,anger,frustration,and loneliness.Positive emotional experiences include four categories: excitement,inspiration,comfort,and pride,and negative emotional experiences include four categories:irritability,anger,frustration,and loneliness.(2)There are three major types of key experiences that trigger the emotional experience of novice teachers of information technology in primary and secondary schools: those that point to teaching tasks,those that point to non-teaching tasks,and those that point to interpersonal communication.Teaching tasks include daily classes,participation in teaching and research activities,guidance of community interest classes,guidance competitions and other activities.Non-teaching tasks include repair and maintenance of campus hardware and software and technical support for school activities.Interpersonal communication includes daily communication with colleagues,students and parents,and pairing with old and new teachers.(3)At the beginning of the novice stage of information technology novice teachers,more negative experiences are experienced in the key experience.With the growth of novice teachers,they gradually mastered the ability of self-emotional regulation and the use of negative emotions to motivate themselves.After teaching for more than one semester,more and more positive emotions began to emerge in key experiences.Novice teachers of information technology have been constantly tempered in the course of their work,and they have learned to absorb nourishment from negative emotional experiences,turning frustration and blow into motivation.Based on the analysis of the emotional experience and professional development dilemma of novice teachers of information technology,this study proposes the following four strategies for primary and secondary schools to construct appropriate situations or events to encourage novice teachers of information technology to produce emotional experiences that promote professional development:To guide novice teachers of information technology to establish self-development awareness,improve the pairing of teachers and apprentices and organize teachers' research activities at different levels,increase the opportunities for novice teachers and students of information technology to communicate,and increase the importance and recognition of teachers of information technology in schools.
