With the gradual development of basic education, teachers are playing an important role in promoting curriculum development and teaching students, and also teacher professional development has become more prominent. However, while stressing the enhancement of teachers’ professional skills, they ignore the train of teachers’ emotional feelings. Emotion as a stable state of mind can influence people’s behavior in depth. And it is also an important factor in motivating and guiding the behavior of teachers. The teacher professional development is reflected in teachers’ behavior in education and it is also an impact of the students’ and teachers’ development.Therefore, this study is based on the combination of the existing literature. The paper is trying to summarize different dimensions of the teaching profession emotion of IT teachers. The dimension is divided into "occupation attract", "professional identity" and "career achievement" three dimensions to form the questionnaire of IT teachers’profession emotion. By issuing questionnaires to investigate Nanjing primary and secondary IT teachers of their professional status and emotional characteristics, the study is trying to find out several factors in influencing teachers’ profession emotion.Through 225 questionaires of IT teachers in primary and secondary schools, the study shows that:(1) The gender is a factor in influencing teachers’ professional emotion of desire and success experience of IT profession.(2) Different areas have influence in success experience. It has relationship with the state of Information Technology.(3) Segment is different in occupation attract dimensions of teachers’ professional emotion, which is particularily in primary schools.(4) There is no significant difference between age and education in teachers’ professional emotion.(5) The teachers’ professional education of junior IT teachers has a remarkable difference from senior IT teachers in desire for teaching career and personal identity.(6) The differences of IT teachers with more than 25 years seniority are significant in the occupation attract and career achievement. And novice teacher in 0-3 years has a big difference in personal identity.(7) The monthly income of 2500-3000 in IT teachers has lower level in self-efficacy than those of the high income level.So, the paper is trying to find out several problems and propose the corresponding solution strategy with the interview. The most important aim of this paper is giving a rising public concern and attention in teachers’ professional emotion.
