The thesis is based on the research on foreign novels from the textbooks,some of which are used in compulsory courses and others are from selective courses.Through comparative analysis and comparative studies.The author finds that the compulsory course textbooks have many advantages in quantities,varieties of regions and identities of the writers,but they lack the characteristics of modern periods.Through the quantitative comparison from different angles,the author finds that the required textbooks have more expansions in terms of quantity and genre of novels than the required textbooks.Elective and reading textbooks have done a good supplement in terms of quantity and genre of novels,reading series and elective textbooks are a good source of foreign fiction learning after school.Secondly,the author explores the current teaching situation,problems and causes of foreign novels through questionnaire survey and teacher interviews.The author finds that foreign novels are rarely involved in the subjects under the college entrance examination system,which greatly reduces teachers and students' attention to foreign novels and thus reduces teachers' class time distributed to in foreign novels.The lack of classroom teaching directly leads to the decline of learning experience.Meanwhile,the gap among liberal students and science students tends to be more obvious.The poor quality of homework and the lack of long-term mechanism have led the teaching of foreign novels into a difficult situation.In this regard,the author actively seeks for the learning content and requirements of foreign literature and novels in the new standard of curriculum,takes the foreign novels of Soviet education edition as an example to carry out practice,and puts forward personal seven Suggestions for the reform of foreign fiction teaching status quo.Adhere to the correct political direction,follow the law of teaching;To establish the educational values of multi-culture;To establish the concept of mutual integration from the perspective of multi-culture;Adhere to the concept of scholar-type teacher development;Try interactive classroom teaching;Develop the teaching means of creative learning,and establish and perfect the growth-oriented working mechanism.Through two practical teaching cases of foreign novels,this paper demonstrates the implementation process of many reform ideas and creativity,and gives some reflections on this.In the layout of growth homework before and after class,attention should be paid to the design of problems and the presentation of feedback;interactive classroom needs more sufficient input at the early stage;creative learning depends on the interaction between teachers' clever thinking of novel content and students' creation.In practice,interactive classroom,creative learning and growth-oriented homework complement each other and achieve each other,which needs further practice and discussion.
