Geographic concepts are the core of geographical knowledge and the important basis for students to further grasp the laws and principles of geography.its teaching results can directly affects students' solving problems.But at present,in real high school geography teaching,there are still many problems,such as: teachers spend less time and energy in teaching concepts;the teachers do not pay enough attention to geographical concepts;the single and rigid forms of teaching method and so on.This paper researches the high school geographic concepts,and in order to improve the effectiveness of geography concept teaching,it adopts the qualitative methods such as method of observation,interview,document search and questionnaire survey,and this research based on the 2017 edition of geography curriculum standards of senior high schools to study the teaching strategies of geography concepts in senior high schools.Firstly,the author explains the research background,significance and current situation of this study,and next,the author retrieves the documents,collects and analyses the materials,and defines the key concepts with the help of literature combing and the author's own teaching practice.Secondly,the author comprehensively uses questionnaire survey,interview and video analysis to analyse the current situation of concept teaching in senior high schools,and makes full use of senior high school geography curriculum standards(2017 edition),Piaget's cognitive assimilation theory,concept transformation theory and constructionist learning theory in this process.Then on this basis,further analysis of the current problems and reasons of high school geography concept teaching,and put forward the right concept teaching strategies which applies to students' cognitive level.Finally,faces the new difficulties in this research,the author determines the follow-up attention and the ways of efforts.As for formulation and implementation of geography concept teaching strategies in senior high school,the author's knowledge and teaching practice experience may be insufficient,so the specific implementation approach and teachingeffect still need to be verified and improved in real classroom teaching.And we will continue to pay attention to this.Moreover,this study mainly uses the survey method,which has certain defects.The respondents may give false or wrong answers to the questions in the questionnaire survey and interviews for various reasons,which leads to some errors in the study.Therefore,in the follow-up study,the author needs to pay attention to the shortcomings of the study and continue to improve it.
