As physics is an experiment-based subject,physics experiment teaching plays an irreplaceable role in physics teaching in middle school,which can cultivate students' practical ability,scientific inquiry ability and observation and analysis ability.It can also stimulate students' interest in exploring physical knowledge and seeking for physical laws.In the new era,our country is vigorously carrying out quality education,and many colleges and universities have issued plans for strengthening basic academic disciplines,requiring physics teachers to cultivate students' other comprehensive abilities while cultivating students' ability to answer questions.As a physics teacher in the new era,I think we have the responsibility to adapt to the needs of the new era,try to improve physical experiments by using self-made teaching aids,and do more demonstration experiments in the physics class as many as possible,and make students participate in the whole process of exploring the laws of physics.This paper develops the research on the application of self-made teaching aids in middle school physics teaching.First of all,according to the six-year teaching experience and the requirements of the new curriculum standard for students in the new period,the author puts forward the background of this research.Then,by referring to a lot of materials,it is learned that at present,some domestic educational administrative departments attach more importance to self-made teaching aids.However,it only stays in carrying out related self-made teaching aids competitions and other activities,while some developed western countries pay special attention to physical experiments,especially to making self-made teaching aids.By consulting the relevant materials,investigating all the students in the second year of junior high school and analyzing the relevant data,and combining with the author's own teaching experience,the author summarizes the six promoting effects of self-made teaching aids in junior middle school physics teaching,so as to show that teachers carrying out self-made teaching aids in junior high school physics teaching can promote the commonimprovement and progress of teachers and students.In order to make readers or new colleagues avoid detours in the process of self-made teaching aids,the author introduces several basic questions in the making of self-made teaching aids according to his own experience,such as the basic requirements of self-made teaching aids,the design requirements of self-made teaching aids,the selection sources of self-made teaching aids,the basic methods and specific steps of self-made teaching aids,and analyzes the current situation and reasons of self-made teaching aids.Finally,the author gives examples of some teaching aids he once made,such as sound and vibration demonstrator,Archimedes principle experimental demo,keyhole imaging demo,water rocket,etc.,to provide some ideas for readers to make self-made teaching aids,making it as a guide,so that readers can also make teaching aids by themselves.The research of this paper shows that in the physics class of junior middle school,according to the learning situation and the actual situation of teachers,self-made teaching aids can not only improve students' physics learning performance,stimulate students' interest in learning physics,and cultivate students' innovative ability.At the same time,it also helps to promote teachers' teaching level and love of work.Through this paper,the author hopes to enlighten peers who are interested in self-made teaching aids and provide some theoretical basis to make it a norm state for self-made teaching aids to appear in physics class.
