Logical reasoning is an important core quality of mathematics.However,in the teaching process,we found that the mathematical reasoning ability of the junior high school students is insufficient,teachers do not understand the state of students' logical reasoning ability,neither do not know how to handle.These problems will inevitably affect the efficiency of classroom teaching,not conducive to the development of teachers and students.So what is the current situation of junior high school mathematics logical reasoning ability? According to the present situation,what teaching strategies should teachers adopt? By using the methods of literature research,test,statistical analysis,case study and interview,184 students in Grade 9 were tested and analyzed,and 5 teachers from two schools were interviewed.Finally,the current situation of junior middle school mathematics logical reasoning ability was obtained.The survey results are as follows:(1)the mathematical logical reasoning ability of junior high school students is in the lower middle level;(2)deductive reasoning ability is higher than inductive reasoning ability and analogical reasoning ability;(3)most students' logical reasoning ability of each level can reach the experience stage;(4)there is a significant correlation between junior middle school students' mathematical logic reasoning ability and mathematics achievement.In the face of the current situation,taking the nature of the vertical bisector of 13.1.2 line segment as a teaching case,this paper explains how to embody the four main manifestations of logic reasoning in junior high school mathematics in the teaching link: finding problems and putting forward propositions,exploring and expressing the argumentation process,understanding the proposition system,and logical expression and communication,so as to explore solutions to problems in teaching practice.On the basis of the current situation and cases,this paper puts forward some strategies to Cultivate Junior Middle School Students' mathematical logical reasoning ability:(1)to cultivate their logical reasoning ability in the process of conjecture,verification and proof;(2)to connect with existing knowledge and find commonness to cultivate analogical reasoning ability;(3)to develop students' inductive reasoning ability in operation rules and rules;(4)tocultivate students' induction in concept teaching(5)to train students' Analogical Reasoning Ability in variant exercises.
