With the continuous advancement of mathematics curriculum reform,the development of mathematics core literacy has been paid more and more attention.The mathematics core accomplishment of junior high school students in minority areas also gets more attention.Therefore,the cultivation of minority junior middle school students' mathematics core literacy in minority areas has become the only way for curriculum reform and balanced development of education.In order to better understand the true level of students' mathematics learning,a method suitable for minority junior high school students in minority areas to cultivate their mathematics core literacy was developed.In this paper,the mathematical modeling and visual imagination of the core mathematical literacy are selected for a comparative study.Taking the schools in Chang Du City,Tibet Province and Baotou City,Inner Mongolia as examples,the paper is used for test analysis.The results showed that the regional differences between the two kinds of core literacy are small,and there is still room for improvement in the overall development of the two kinds of core literacy.The male students have a certain advantage over the female students in mastering the literacy,and some suggestions on how to improve the core math literacy of junior high school students in minority areas are put forward.1.Cultivate the mathematics core literacy of junior high school students in minority areas according to the requirements of curriculum reform.2.Pay attention to the unbalanced development of junior high school students' math core literacy in minority areas.,according to the actual situation,some emphasis should be placed in the training process.3.Pay attention to gender differences and promote common development.4.Enhance the attention to the mathematics core literacy of junior high school students in ethnic minority areas.5.According to the curriculum and teaching theory,improve the theoretical basis of junior high school students in minority areas mathematics core literacy training.
