In recent years,the competition of Vocational and technical talents is becoming more and more fierce.Vocational education can directly cultivate practical talents.It is a kind of education that can directly create social wealth and occupies a very important position in China's education.According to the particularity of mathematics education in secondary vocational schools,it is required in the curriculum standard of mathematics in secondary vocational schools to highlight the applicability or comprehensiveness of mathematics education in secondary vocational schools,which is just the basic idea of STEAM education.STEAM education is the development trend of education in the new era,which is committed to the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability.At the same time,origami has developed from the original handicraft art to mathematics,engineering,science and other fields,and the interdisciplinary level is increasing,which coincides with the scientific connotation of STEAM education.Therefore,I try to use origami as the starting point,combined with STEAM education concept,to explore the mathematics development course suitable for secondary vocational education in line with China's national conditions,so as to cultivate the comprehensive learning ability and innovation consciousness of secondary vocational students.After the analysis of the literature,this study puts forward the following research questions: 1.Is it feasible to implement the origami expansion course under the STEAM education concept in secondary vocational mathematics teaching? 2.How to design the mathematical origami expansion course suitable for secondary vocational students under the STEAM education concept? 3.What is the impact of the implementation of expansion course on secondary vocational students?In view of the first question,the author takes teachers and students as the object to carry out research,and adopts the method of questionnaire survey and interview analysis to understand the current situation of mathematics teaching in secondary vocational schools,whether the front-line teachers have the ability and consciousness to open the origami expansion course of Mathematics under the STEAM education concept,and the needs of secondary vocational students.After analyzing the results of the questionnaire,the key questions were selected for interview analysis.According to the current situation of questionnaire survey and interview analysis,it is concluded that secondary vocational students have great needs in changing mathematics learning attitude and interdisciplinary comprehensive ability.Therefore,it is feasible to carry out the mathematical folding expansion course for secondary vocational students with STEAM education as the concept and origami as the carrier.In view of the second problem,according to the results of the survey,this paper designs the expansion course for secondary vocational students.In view of the students' problems and needs,the curriculum objectives are established from four aspects: knowledge and attitude of mathematics learning,origami ability and interest,help for career development,and cultivation of interdisciplinary integration ability.Based on the 6e teaching mode,this paper develops a STEAM origami expansion course teaching mode suitable for secondary vocational students in China,and concretes each link of the teaching mode.And established "origami and geometry","origami and art" and "origami and science,technology and Engineering" three types of development courses,respectively designed 2 to 3 classes.Then,in three types of expansion courses,one expansion course("how to fold a piece of A4 paper into the largest cuboid without cover","golden section in origami","Sanpu origami and solar panels")is selected respectively.In the teaching practice,the students of secondary vocational school are carried out,and the teaching content analysis,teaching plan,implementation process and summary are recorded in detail It is shown that.In view of the third problem,after the implementation of the three expansion courses,the students are evaluated and assessed.Combined with the irregular interviews with the students during the course,the analysis shows that the development of the origami expansion course under the STEAM education concept has the following meanings for most secondary vocational students:1.Change the boring impression of mathematics and feel the fun of mathematics.2.The ability and core literacy of interdisciplinary thinking are enhanced.3.The view of origami has changed,resulting in the interest in origami mathematics,and the idea of using origami to learn geometric knowledge or fold more complex graphics.4.Feel that mathematics is closely related to career,think that mathematics is an essential tool,and pay more attention to mathematics.
