In the era of knowledge economy,STEAM education has become an important educational paradigm for cultivating students' inquiry ability and creative thinking.Socially shared regulation learning(SSRL)refers to the process cognition, metacognition, motivation, and emotion which become an important theoretical basis for improving STEAM collaboration process. As most of the STEAM courses have the characteristics of short-period and fast-frequency micro-courses,the SSRL needs to be adjusted and iterated to make it more suitable for the corresponding teaching environment. The main contents of this dissertation are illustrated below:(1)Design and develop a micro-STEAM classroom activity with embedded socially shared learning theory based on the literature review of SSRL and STEAM education.By summarizing the dimensions and scaffolding of SSRL,the theoretical relationship model and classroom application process model are constructed.Emphasizing the SSRL evaluation methods from the perspective of the discourse analysis, the quality of SSRL,the behavior analysis of the collaboration process, social network analysis,Lag Sequential Analysis, questionnaires, content analysis, and interviews,etc.(2)Two cases were applied based on the above learning model.According to the specific case situation, the second case is based on the modification and iteration of the first practice.Case analysis verifies the applicability of this model from the evaluation tools illustrated above. The result of the dissertation found that using SSRL theory to intervene in microSTEAM courses can benefit learners by strengthens their cognition, metacognition, motivation, and emotion, which effectively promotes group development and improves the collaboration process of the STEAM classroom.
