The "expectation of education",in contemporary society,refers to a kind of "utilitarian" educational values which imply in most social class.Individuals hope to realize their expectation of upward social mobility through exam-oriented education;while "expected education" refers to the analysis of what it should be,it focuses on the promotion of human development and social progress through the development of quality education.The author chooses Enshi E Middle School as the research case,because it has achieved excellent results after the reform of "235 classroom teaching mode" and has achieved great progress in "12 years,12 leaps".However,after field research,the author found that the education and teaching exploration of E Middle School still served exam-oriented education.This education model was still far from the "quality education" claimed and practiced by E Middle School itself.According to the educational practice of E Middle School,the author puts forward the educational expectations in mind: education guides students to form correct world outlook,outlook on life and values;promoting their ability to transform the world and personal development as well.The level of social civilization and social development are imperceptibly promoted by providing high quality human resources to the society.The first chapter of this article is the introduction,which introduces the reason for the topic selection,the significance of the research,the domestic and international status research,research ideas and innovations and research methods,which systematically lays the theoretical foundation for this article.The second chapter is an overview of the survey points,which mainly introduces the situation of E Middle School from three aspects: the education overview of Enshi City,the school history of E Middle School and the E Middle School as a "provincial key".The third chapter is to show the expectations of education with rich field data by investigating education points from different social groups,which mainly reflects as follows: the overall expectations of the society,the expectations of parents and students,the cultural choices of schools,the construction of local governments,specific courses and exams and so on.The fourth chapter is analysis of the relationship between "reality and imagination",based on the field data of E Middle School and the relationship between actual education and due education.The fifth chapter is theoretical reflection on our current school education.On the basis of first-hand data,ideal construction of "expected education" is put forward,the ultimate goal of education should not be the separation of people and life.It needs to serve the overall development of people and the progress of society and serve the improvement of human civilization.
