At present,a new round of basic education curriculum reform is underway nationwide. As an important part of the new curriculum reform, the reform of teaching materials is also proceeding in an orderly manner.The2017 version of the new high school chemistry curriculum standard proposes to develop the core literacy of students' chemistry disciplines. Therefore, the content compilation and presentation of the new textbooks have undergone great changes. As a subject based on experiment, chemistry has a prominent position in chemistry teaching. Therefore,an in-depth understanding of the changes in the content of chemistry experiments in textbooks is of great significance to both theory and reality. This article is based on the general high school textbook(Compulsory Chemistry Volume 1 and Volume 2)published by People's Education Press in 2019(hereinafter referred to as the new textbook)and the standard experimental textbook for general high school curriculum(Chemistry Compulsory 1,Compulsory 2)(hereinafter referred to as the old textbook)experimental content is the research object.Using literature research method, comparative research method, and content analysis method as research methods, through comparative research, find out the differences between the two editions of textbooks. In order to facilitate the frontline teachers to better understand the new courses and use the new textbooks, and provide reference for the efficient development of experimental teaching. The research contents of this subject are as follows: The review of“Comparative Research on Experiments in High School Chemistry Textbooks at Home and Abroad” was sorted out using the literature research method.A comparative analysis of the experimental content in the old and new high school chemistry textbooks was carried out through comparative research methods, and the research ideas for this topic were determined. It also defines concepts such as chemical experiment, core literacy, and comparative research. It focuses on the in-depth comparisons between the surface content of the experiment and the specific experiment in the high school chemistry textbook. And design a teaching case on the experimental content of “iron and its compounds” in the new high school chemistry textbook.Comparative studies have found that the design of experimental content in the new high school chemistry textbook is more conducive to the development of students' core chemistry literacy:(1)The new high school chemistry textbook aims to develop the core literacy of students' chemistry disciplines, and pays special attention to the compilation of student experiments and the safe operation of experiments;the choice of experiment content is more practical and interesting;the arrangement of the experiment content conforms to the curriculum concept of the 2017 version of the new curriculum standard, clearly defines student experiments, implements and develops the core literacy of students, and achieves the goals of experimental teaching;the presentation of experimental content is richer, and different ways of exploratory thinking are adopted according to the difference of experimental tasks;at the same time, the reform of teaching materials has promoted the reform of chemical experiment safety education. The position of chemical experiment safety education in the new textbooks has been significantly deepened, and the function of chemical experiment education has become more prominent.(2)Compared with the old textbooks, the new high school chemistry textbooks have significantly improved the experimental "quality" : The old textbooks focused on the observation and recording experimental phenomena, experimental conclusions, and the writing of related chemical equations;the new textbooks focused on the inquiry process of the experiment and guided students to explore independently.Analyzing experimental conclusions on the basis of chemical reaction equations and experimental phenomena is conducive to cultivating students' core literacy in chemistry.Based on the conclusions of comparative research, relevant experimental teaching suggestions are put forward on how to implement and develop of students' core chemistry literacy in high school chemistry experiments:(1)The aim is to develop the core literacy of students in chemistry;(2)Give full play to the main role of students;(3)Improve the ability of experimental evaluation and promote the development of core literacy;(4)Strengthen the integration of chemical experiment teaching information and information technology;(5)Improve the ability to control experiments in textbooks.
