Under the background of globalization of education, countries and regions, like the community of destiny, are carrying out increasingly close exchanges and exchanges, and have focused their attention on improving the common ideals of core literacy education. The emergence of globalization of education means that in order to make the entire education system full of freshness,it is necessary to learn to carry out reform and innovation in terms of spiritual leadership, methods and technical means. As the first country in the world to propose "core literacy education",the United Kingdom has an important role in the global education reform process. In recent years, the research on core literacy education has gradually become the focus of research in various subject areas.Looking at the improvement course of new courses in China, the promulgation of the 2017 edition of the high school chemistry curriculum standards is like a catalyst for stimulating literacy education, and has become the basic education chemistry community in China.A milestone event. As a carrier of the implementation of curriculum standards and the dissemination of subject knowledge, textbooks are an important tool for cultivating students’ core literacy. In the sensitive period of curriculum teaching transformation, the preparation of experimental textbooks based on the new curriculum concept is particularly important. This paper aims to improve the core literacy of students, and to classify the core literacy level of chemistry disciplines proposed by China’s "General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)"(reference)as an indicator.Compared with the latest edition of CIE A-level chemistry textbook "Chemistry" published by Cambridge University Press in 2014,by summarizing the similarities and differences between the curriculum standards and the specific chapters of the textbooks, summarizing the inadequacies of the old textbooks in China, and drawing on the British textbooks The highlights of the preparation are dedicated to providing suggestions for the preparation and teaching practice of new textbooks in China. After comparing the curriculum standards and the specific textbooks of Chinese and English textbooks,it is not difficult to find that the textbooks of the two countries have their own emphasis on improving the core literacy of students, and there are also relatively insufficient places for the preparation of new textbooks in China. To continue to maintain the strengths of the pre-existing textbooks, and to learn from the advanced nature of British textbooks, specific recommendations include: reviewing the teaching objectives of chemistry experiments, strengthening the sensitivity of students;focusing on the chain-based learning of material nature, shifting to the overall framework of knowledge; The combination of digital and graphic design improves the comprehensive analysis ability of students;increases the learning columns of simultaneous questions, cultivates the students’ ability to change and adapt;improves the structure and organization of the teaching support system, refines the learning objectives of each stage, etc.,in order to realize the new concept of teaching materials.Reform and innovation in the background.
