National unity,ethnic unity and social stability are the indispensable cornerstone of the country's prosperity.Paying attention to the narration of the content of ancient Chinese ethnic history benefits students to correctly grasp the basic national conditions of our country and form a correct view of the country and nation.Most of the existing researches focus on the study of ethnic history in middle school history textbooks and the teaching strategy of ancient Chinese ethnic history.It is,however,still necessary for extension of research on the teaching practice of ancient Chinese ethnic history.Through educational practice,questionnaires were distributed to some middle school history teachers and students in ethnic areas.Combined with the questionnaires,we can figure out that teachers and students can accurately understand the importance of relevant content of ethnic history.Meanwhile,teachers do not sufficiently excavate local ethnic history resources and the teaching methods are relatively and inadequate mastery of basic knowledge of ethnic history among students.With the method of classroom observation and teaching practice,we can study the teaching strategies of ancient Chinese ethnic history from the perspective of teachers and schools.For example,teachers should make full use of local ethnic history resources to supplement history teaching,and make appropriate supplements and selections of relevant contents in history textbooks;Schools should strengthen campus culture construction,incorporate ethnic history and culture in campus culture construction,and carry out educational activities on the theme of ethnic unity.Exploring the teaching of ancient Chinese ethnic history in ethnic areas can help students understand and respect the cultural tradition of different ethnic groups,learn to interact with other ethnic groups,and consolidate national unity.
