With the improvement of the national requirements for talent training and the advocacy of the cultivation of junior high school students' historical literacy,how to solve the current problems in junior high school history teaching,to help students achieve ability improvement,literacy cultivation and potential exploration,is now the urgent problem facing junior high school history teaching.Taking project-based learning as the research priority,this study explores how to apply project-based learning to junior high school history teaching,so as to promote the improvement of students' core literacy in history.In this study,first of all,the theory of project-based learning,including its content,characteristics and advantages,are well elaborated.Therefore,the significance of project-based learning is highlighted.It contributes a lot to advocating the classroom teaching reform,to cultivating students' ability of cooperation and independent thinking,and to developing quality-oriented education.On the basis of theoretical research,the study then focuses on how to develop project-based learning in junior middle school.First,junior high school history project design should follow the advice to students learning important considerations for the project design,history to foster students practical ability,guide for the project design,with students existing cognitive level for the project design basis,guided by the historical course content and curriculum embodies discipline characteristic and other basic principles;Second,combined with the current front-line teachers' practice cases of project-based learning in middle school history,the form of project-based learning in middle school history is briefly classified.Third,it puts forward the concrete steps of project-based learning design for junior high school history.Finally,taking the historical cultural creation project with the theme of "the tour of ancient Chinese civilization" as the practical case,the questionnaire survey method was used to explore its effectiveness in the actual history teaching,in order to provide some reference suggestions for the application of project-based learning in junior high school history teaching.
