Under the background of curriculum reform,paying attention to time management is the inevitable choice of school development.However,the working time management of the junior middle school class teacher has always been regarded as a more difficult problem.How to manage the working time reasonably and effectively in order to improve the work efficiency,directly affect the development of the class and the school.Based on the questionnaire survey of 336 junior middle school class teachers in N District of Shantou City,the present situation of junior middle school class teachers' working time management in this area is understood around the cognitive situation of working time,the distribution of working time and the management behavior of working time.The results showed that: first,in terms of the connotation of working hours,the average value of female class teachers was generally higher than that of male class teachers,and those with higher education were generally higher than those with lower education.Secondly,the class teacher's teaching time and emergency time are excessive,the class management time structure is out of balance,and the teacher's professional development time is on the low side.Finally,the working time management behavior of the head teacher is not ideal,but the planning behavior is improved with the increase of the title,and the control behavior and the evaluation behavior are improved with the increase of the class teacher's years.Existing problems:the lack of consciousness of working time management of the head teacher is mainly manifested in the low willingness of colleagues to communicate and the lack of planning of class management.The unreasonable allocation of working time is mainly manifested in the long teaching time,the imbalance of class management time structure,the lack of professional development time,and the imbalance between work and life.Working time management behavior needs to be improved,mainly in the lack of time planning and reflection,lack of effective skills in control behavior,lack of school support.The causes are as follows: subjective factors: the head teacher is not active enough,the students' homework is poor,and then the working time of the head teacher is too long.Objective factors: the school lacks the initiative to provide the learning exchange meeting,endows the head teacher too much burden,the home and school communication is repeated and invalid.Based on the present situation and problems and causes,the author puts forward the following suggestions: to cultivate their own working time management consciousness,including establishing correct working time values and developing working time management strategy consciousness;to improve working time management strategies,including mastering working time allocation skills,coordinating work and living time,improving working time management reflection ability and enhancing autonomous learning ability;and to improve school managers' time management strategies,including reasonable arrangement of class teacher workload,optimization of school auxiliary time structure,organization and strengthening of targeted training and scientific management ability.
