Aiming at the current situation of the general lack of critical thinking of senior high school students and the difficulties existing in argumentative writing,the paper focuses on the relationship between them so as to explore the mutual promotion relationship and achieve the purpose of improving their dual abilities.By collecting and collating the relevant literature,and conducting a questionnaire survey of teachers and students about the current situation of argumentative writing teaching in senior high school,the author hopes to put forward some teaching strategies,such as changing the classroom teaching mode of argumentative writing,combining with clear and effective thinking evaluation tools,to take critical thinking as an important breakthrough in improving the current teaching of argumentative writing for senior high school students,in the teaching of argumentative writing,we should cultivate high school students' critical thinking.This paper will put forward specific teaching strategies from three aspects:teacher classroom teaching,homework system improvement and composition correction and evaluation mechanism,in order to promote and improve the students' writing level and critical thinking ability.At the same time,the times require contemporary Chinese teachers not only to have rich subject knowledge,but also to have the critical thinking ability to keep pace with the times.Based on the subject of Chinese,teachers can cultivate students' critical thinking in the teaching of argumentative writing,at the same time,constantly improve teachers' professional knowledge and critical thinking ability.
