The construction of the teaching staff is the top priority of the development of rural education.Since 2006,Hunan and other provinces have actively tried to innovate teacher training and supplement systems. They have successively introduced relevant policies for teacher-oriented training. At present,a number of orientation rural teachers who receive professional training from junior high school graduation have entered rural schools.Oriented training has become one of the channels for supplementing rural teachers.Occupational adaptation is a necessary process in individual career development.Maladjustment to the occupation will hinder the effective development of new teachers' teaching work.It also affects new teachers' recognition of the teaching occupation, even lead to teachers' passive sabotage or resignation.Previous research on occupational adaptation mostly focuses on the adaptation stage after employment, and pays more attention to the results. There is little research on the process of occupational adaptation. In addition, the current research on teachers' occupational adaptation mostly takes primary and middle school teachers or kindergarten teachers as the research object. The orientation rural teachers who receive professional training from junior high school graduation has not received enough attention. This research focuses on the peculiarities of orientation rural teachers who receive professional training from junior high school graduation. The purpose of the research is to explore the process and mechanism of occupational adaptation. This research uses a narrative research strategy.Using snowball sampling,a total of 15 orientation training teachers were selected. The research uses telephone interviews and field interviews.Through interviews and observations,in-depth research is conducted from multiple perspectives.Researcher conduct in-depth explorations of individual career experiences in various periods, such as applying for exams, studying at school, and entering jobs. After obtaining the research data, the researcher sorted out and analyzed it,combed the interviewee's occupational adaptation process, analyzed the influencing factors of the adaptation process and adaptation results, and explored the interaction between the various elements. Finally, this paper summarizes the internal mechanism of the interviewee's occupational adaptation. It is found that the occupational adaptation of orientation rural teachers is a dynamic gradual process. It has the characteristics of early starting point for occupational adaptation, fast adaptation after entry, and obvious policy guidance. From becoming a normal student, the occupational adaptation process of the orientation rural teachers can be divided into three stages. That is,the occupational selection and preparation stage before entering the job,the rapid adjustment stage of the first entry, and the stable stage of work and life gradually entering the right track. At each stage, the methods and results of oriented training of orientation rural teachers are not the same, and their occupational adaptation degree is constantly improving amid fluctuations.External environmental factors affect teachers' occupational adaptation, and teachers constantly adjust themselves in the interaction with environmental factors. The relevant policies of oriented training are the catalysts for the occupational adaptation of orientation rural teachers who receive professional training from junior high school graduation. These policies guide and restrict the behavior of teachers.
