As a kind of high-level physical thinking ability,the high student's ability of the primitive physical problem-representation is the internal demand to realize the individual growth of students,and it is also an important reference to guide front-line educators in scientific physics teaching.In recent years,physical problem-representation has received more and more attention and research.However,the research on the primary physical problem-representation ability and its promotion strategy of senior high school students is obviously insufficient.Therefore,this paper attempts to investigate the current situation of high school students' primitive physical problem-representation ability,and puts forward feasible improvement strategies based on the research conclusions.The target of this paper is to further deepen the understanding of the high student's ability of the primitive physical problem-representation,and then provide necessary enlightenment and basis for the practice and science teaching of improving the high student's ability of the primitive physical problem-representation.Firstly,this paper defined and analyzed the basic concepts of "the primitive physical problem" and "the high student's ability of the primitive physical problem-representation".The basic characteristics of the primitive physical problem,the connotation,process,level and type of the primitive physical problem-representation,and the influencing factors of the ability of the primitive physical problem-representation were discussed theoretically.The connotation of these concepts and the relationship between each other were clarified,and the theoretical basis of this study was clarified,so as to provide a reliable basis for further research.Then,on the basis of the self-organizing representation theory,two elements that constitute the ability of the primitive physical problem-representation are proposed,including the ability to understand and internalize the primitive physical problem and the ability to express and transform the primitive physical problem.Next,referred to the evaluation index of the high student's ability of the primitive physical problem-representation,the questionnaire of the high student's ability of the primitive physical problem-representation test was developed and revised according to the feedback of peer experts and scholars.Then the questionnaire was sent out for trial test,and the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were tested.The test results show that the developed test tool has high reliability and validity,which can be used for further investigation.This test tool was used to investigate and analyze the students in a city's senior high school.In order to comprehensively study the influencing factors of the ability of primitive physics problems-representation,the latest physical scores,mathematics scores and Chinese scores of the respondents were collected,the data of collected were processed and correlation analysis.The results show that the overall level of the high student's ability of the primitive physical problem-representation was not high,and there is no significant correlation between the representation ability and gender,but there is a significant correlation between the representation ability and the performance of physics,mathematics and Chinese.Lastly,According to the theoretical discussion and investigation results of high school students' primitive physical problems,this paper proposed strategies to improve the high student's ability of the primitive physical problem-representation.Educators should take a proactive attitude and integrate the primitive physics problems into the concrete physics teaching.When the teacher compiled the examination questions,some questions could be adapted into the primitive physics problems,they can guide the students to complete the appropriate physical representation,form a good habit of thinking and problem solving.In addition,educators should not only pay attention to the training of primitive physical problems and the cultivating students' habit of primitive physical problem-representation,but also strengthen the study of basic subject knowledge and promote students' all-round development.
