| Social work development is closely related to voluntary service development. At present, based on policy analysis and organizational management, academic studies have proposed issues and suggestions on the management of voluntary service organizations,as well as the involvement of social work in organizational management of voluntary service. However, the studies failed to pay enough attention to whether voluntary service can facilitate the development of social work. This study mainly discusses the following issue: whether the sufficient supply of local voluntary service can have an influence on the development of social work in this area? Hence, this hypothesis is put forward: sufficient supply of voluntary service is conducive to the development of social work.Quantitative analysis of the relationship between voluntary service and social work development is conducted. It can enhance the understanding of social work service organizations and volunteers, help the organizations adopt appropriate strategies of volunteer management, and provide the theoretical basis for the government to formulate development strategies for social work and voluntary service. This study uses a quantitative approach to discuss the relationship between the development of social work and the supply and demand of voluntary services. This paper builds an index system to measure the supply, demand and development level of voluntary services in each region, calculates the weight of each index in the index system with the help of entropy weight method, and reflects the matching degree of regional volunteer service supply and demand by determining the coupling degree of volunteer service supply and demand level.Using the spatial representation function of ArcGIS software, this paper analyzes the spatial characteristics of volunteer service supply, demand and social work development. Finally, with the help of SPSS25.0,partial correlation analysis and multiple linear regression method are used to determine the correlation between the matching degree of volunteer service supply and demand and the development of social work, and relevant theories are used to explain. This study adopts the method of quantitative research to discuss the correlativity between social work development and voluntary service supply and demand.Through establishing the index system of voluntary service supply in various areas, the need for voluntary service and the development of social work, entropy weight method is used to calculate the weight of indexes in the system. The matching degree of voluntary service supply and demand is demonstrated by determining the level of voluntary service supply and demand.Besides,by using the function of spatial representation of ArcGIS,the study analyzes the spacial features of voluntary service supply, demand and social work development.Lastly, based on SPSS25.0 and social work development as the dependent variable,third-order partial correlation analysis and multiple linear regression are used to illustrate the correlativity between matching degrees of voluntary service supply and demand, economic levels and educational development.According to the analysis results, correlativity exists between matching degrees of voluntary service supply and demand,as well as social work development.Based on the calculations of partial correlation coefficients, after the impact of economic level, educational level and ethnic gathering on matching degrees of supply and demand of volunteer services and social work development,it is still over 95% certain that strong correlation exists between them. However, the study also notices various factors that affect social work and voluntary service development.Factors like policy and culture have not been included in the study. Therefore, the study can only prove that matching degrees of voluntary service supply and demand can facilitate social work development, but can not verify that matching degrees of voluntary service supply and demand determine the quality of social work development. |
