Due to the particularity of high school education,on the one hand,high school students are in adolescence,which is a critical period of personality development;on the other hand,they are bearing the huge pressure of the increasingly heavy college entrance examination.Therefore,the professional development level of the head teacher in high school is of great significance to the physical and mental development of senior high school students.Professional development of head teachers is a process of individual development of head teachers,which aims at improving the lifelong development of each teacher and the all-round development of each student.The head teacher professional development is including the content of the professional knowledge,professional moral,professional ability,etc.By constantly learning,practice and reflection process self-improvement,the head teachers gradually turn from intellectual concern to spiritual concern,they personally participate in the growth progress of every high school student,help them set up ideal and correct values,position career goals,develop good character and so on.To a certain extent,the work of director affects the training specification and quality of talents in need of the country and society.This paper focuses on the professional development of an outstanding young head teacher of a high school,Teacher L,and compares his development experience to the process of a seed growing into a tree,from “falling to take roots”,“spreading branches and leaves” to“blossoming and bearing fruits”.When I sort out and think about the professional development of Teacher L,the time span is not limited to the period after he became a head teacher,but the content and level of professional development are analyzed from a longer and broader background in life experience.At the same time,it analyzes the factors that influence professional development from the two dimensions of individual environment and organization environment.I pay attention to how he gives full play to his internal consciousness an initiative,and how he takes the road of independent professional development when he faces the special events.Teacher L has laid the knowledge and moral foundation for professional development in his early age.At the beginning of his career,he has mastered professional knowledge and skills,improved professional ethics and strengthened professional beliefs.In the capacity construction development of the head teacher,he develops his professional knowledge and ability through inadequate practice and constant self-reflection,and makes full use of favorable factors in the environment to stimulate the potential of professional development.In the enthusiastic growth period of professional development of head teacher L,he constantly deepens the content and level of professional development based on rich educational achievements,and embarks on the road of independent professional development.Through the analysis of teacher L’s professional development progress,the following conclusions are drawn: the process of becoming an outstanding youth high school teacher is to meet the spiritual needs of high school students as an important goal.Try to drive by personal and organizational environmental influences.Take the development of professional knowledge,morality and ability as the core.Pursue independent professional development road.
