Online learning has received widespread recognition and attention due to the gradual development of network technology and educational information.The online education that separates teachers and students breaks through the constraints of regions under the traditional teaching model.More and more learners feel the convenience brought by rich teaching resources in distance learning.However,the development of online learning also faces some challenges,and the accompanying learning problems are gradually revealed.Learning pressure is one of the challenges.How much learning pressure will reduce the effect of learning,and even endanger people's physical and mental health.There is not much research on the learning pressure of online learners in academia.This research will take college students as the research object,study the pressure sources of college students' online learning,analyze the current situation of college students' online learning pressure,and explore whether there are differences in the pressure of college students' online learning under different background variables,and make suggestions for improving college students' online pressure management ability.This research adopts literature analysis method and questionnaire survey method,taking students from S University in Nanchang City as the sample object.Connected with the interactive influence distance theory,independent learning theory,individual-environment matching work stress model,combed relevant domestic and foreign research,sorted out and revised the online learning stress scale.There are six levels: learning interaction pressure,teaching design pressure,economic pressure,technical pressure,independent learning pressure,learning time and support pressure.A total of 248 questionnaires were distributed,and 230 valid questionnaires were finally recovered.Descriptive analysis and factor analysis of the collected data,and use learner background elements as variables to discuss online learning pressure differences.The main findings are as follows:(1)College students have different levels of pressure on online learning.See the arrangement of pressure on the mean.Technical pressure(M=3.214)is the first,followed by the pressure of teaching design(M=3.120),economic pressure(M=3.090),and the pressure of learning time and support(M=3.055).Learning interaction pressure(M=2.951),autonomous learning pressure(M=2.984)is smaller.The result of factor analysis proves that the selected 6 factors have good representativeness.(2)The five elements of gender,grade,subject category,family location,and online learning experience differ significantly from the different dimensions of online learning pressure.In addition,the way college students cope with the pressure of online learning is analyzed.When encountering pressure,college students choose more entertainment ways to decompress and go with the flow.To relieve stress,students basically talk to friends/classmates and family members.Based on the data of this research,the corresponding countermeasures to improve the pressure management level of college students' online learning are proposed mainly from the internal and external levels.Learners should adjust their own online learning pressure perception of college students,and enhance their own information literacy and pressure tolerance.Teachers should design courses reasonably,push high-quality teaching resources,and strengthen the interaction between teachers and students.The family needs to provide support,create a good atmosphere and cultivate modern family education methods.Provide valuable reference and inspiration for Chinese college students to improve their online learning stress management level.
