The teaching of novel reading is an important part of Chinese reading teaching.However,there are still some problems in the teaching of novel reading in senior high school,such as the single teaching content and the pattern of teaching.As a result,students do not have a deep understanding of the text and their thinking is at a shallow level,which is not conducive to the improvement of students' reading ability and the development of their Chinese core accomplishment.Deep learning focuses on connection and construction,understanding and criticism,transfer and application,which is the path to cultivate core literacy.Deep learning theory can provide beneficial enlightenment to the current Chinese teaching reform,and provide a way of thinking to solve the problem of high school novel reading shallow teaching.In this paper,the questionnaire survey method,lesson analysis method and other research methods are used to analyze the current problems existing in high school novel reading teaching,and under the guidance of deep learning theory,proposed to improve the high school novel reading teaching strategies.This paper is divided into five parts.The introduction summarizes the related research of deep learning theory.The second part discusses the value of high school fiction reading teaching under the theory of deep learning,from the position of novels in textbooks and the value of deep learning theory to guide the teaching of novel reading.The third part analyzes the problems existing in high school novel reading teaching and explores the reasons.The fourth part combines the deep learning theory and puts forward the improvement strategy of high school novel reading teaching.The fifth part tries to use teaching strategies to design reading teaching with Blessings as an example.
