The reading teaching of the whole book has played an important role in Chinese education since ancient times.In the “Chinese curriculum standards for ordinary high schools”(2017 edition,revised in 2020),the “learning task group” as a new learning method has aroused the full concern of academics and front-line teachers.Among the many learning task groups,"whole book reading and discussion" ranks first.It breaks through the limitations of previous single-text teaching and plays an important role in improving the core literacy of students.The whole book reading has become a part of the high school Chinese curriculum system,and it is worth exploring its value and role in front-line teaching.The unified edition “Language(Compulsory Volume 1)” officially used in September2019 uses “From the Soil” which is written by Xiao tong Fei as the reading material for the unit “the Whole Book Reading”,which is the designated reading for the compulsory high school Chinese course.The academic monographs,unfamiliar academic monographs,and the“whole book reading and discussion” learning task group have brought challenges to many frontline teachers.The existing research on the whole book reading teaching is mostly the summary and introduction of the theoretical methods in the period of using the old textbooks,the summary of personal teaching experience or the research of specific teaching cases.There is a lack of research on the reading teaching of the whole book after using the united edition of Chinese compulsory textbook.Under the above premise,this research takes the teaching of the learning task group of the new textbook “the Whole Book Reading and Discussion” officially launched in the frontline teaching as the research object,and conducted a survey of the whole book reading teaching in high schools in Licheng District and High-tech Zone of Jinan City.This research summarizes and attributes the problems that have been investigated,and tries to put forward corresponding strategies and teaching design schemes.The full text is mainly divided into the following six parts:The first part is the introduction.First,the research background and research significance of this thesis are explained.After the Chinese course standard document is updated,it is necessary to study the learning task group teaching mode.The use of the compiled high school Chinese textbooks provides necessary conditions for the study of the “whole book reading and discussion” learning task group.The study of the whole book reading teaching that has just been put into practice can provide certain reference and teaching enlightenment for frontline teachers.Then it summarizes the teaching research status of this learning task group,and finally discusses the research methods of this article.The second part sorts out the development of the whole book reading concept in various periods,and summarizes the characteristics and functions of the whole book reading teaching in different periods.Focusing on the new requirements of the current era for the whole book reading,author analyzes its value and significance in teaching practice.The third part focuses on the combination of the learning task group teaching mode and the new era high school Chinese whole book reading teaching,and summarizes the characteristics of the learning task group teaching mode and the “whole book reading and discussion” learning task group.These can provide some enlightenment for the first-line senior high school Chinese teachers to give full play to the advantages of the “learning task group” in the “whole book reading” teaching.The fourth part is a specific investigation of the current situation of the task group teaching of “From the soil” reading and discussion after using the unified textbook.The questionnaire survey method is the main survey method of this research.The first-line teachers and students of three different high schools in Jinan are selected as the survey subjects selected by the author.At the same time,the interview method is supplemented to make the survey results more comprehensive.After understanding the current situation of the whole book reading teaching in high schools in Jinan area,the author puts forward practical and effective teaching strategies.The fifth part is based on the current survey status of the whole book reading.The author explores the teaching strategies of this learning task group based on the existing problems,and tries to design the teaching of the task group of “From the soil” Reading and Discussion.The sixth part is the conclusion.Summarize the research results and shortcomings of this article,and express the prospects for the application of this research in practice in the future.
