The idea of mathematics is contained in the process of formation,development and application of mathematical knowledge.It is the abstraction and generalization of basic mathematical knowledge and basic methods at a higher level.Classification is an important mathematical idea.Many mathematical problems in the middle school stage always need to be solved through classification.For example,the discussion of uncertain parameters for functions and the discussion of uncertainties of geometrical figures for geometric problems all involve the application of classification.Learning to classify not only helps to learn new mathematics knowledge,but also improves students' ability to analyze and solve problems,thereby further improving students' application ability of mathematics knowledge.Based on this,this research plan explores the status quo of the application of classification thinking in junior middle school mathematics teaching from the perspective of teachers and students? What are the factors that influence the application of classification thinking by teachers and students?295 junior high school students from E,L,and S three schools in L city and 68 related teachers were selected as the survey objects.Through literature method and investigation and research methods,we explored the understanding of teachers and students on classification thoughts,and the value of classification thoughts.Understand the situation and its application in a specific mathematical context.Then continue to search for the root cause,use statistical methods to explore the influencing factors of the application of teacher-student classification thoughts from a qualitative and quantitative perspective,and finally from the four types of mathematics knowledge that cause classification,relevant teaching strategies are proposed.As far as teaching status is concerned,most of the teachers and students have a good understanding of classification thinking,and they can recognize the importance and unique value of classification thinking;teachers can learn from pre-class preparation,classroom penetration,and after-class guidance.Students have insufficient awareness of the application of classification thoughts.When encountering mathematical problems related to classification,they cannot think of classification;the students' application level of classification thoughts in specific mathematical situations is generally low,and their classification ability in school type and difficulty is water performance There are also differences.In terms of influencing factors,for teachers,the influencing factors are as follows.The first is the teacher's knowledge of classification thoughts,the second is the teacher's understanding of the importance of classification thoughts,and the third is the process of permeating classification thoughts in mathematics teaching,Of course,the type of school the teacher is in is also an important factor.For students,the first is the insufficient reserve of basic mathematics knowledge,and the second is the insufficient classification awareness of students in the application process,that is,most students cannot think of using classification to discuss and solve problems in specific situations.Finally,students are limited by the current students' thinking level,which makes it difficult to do To classify the items in a consistent manner.At the same time,the location of the student's school will also affect the application level of students' classification thinking.Starting from the four types of mathematics knowledge that caused the classification and discussion,combined with the current situation of students' application level of the four types,the following teaching suggestions are proposed.Enhancing the understanding of the connotation of mathematical concepts is the basis for the application of classification thinking;understanding the meaning of subparameters containing parameters is the prerequisite for determining classification standards;Using the combination of number and shape to determine the category of graphics is the key to classification discussion;Grasp the actual background of math problems and create conditions for scientific classification.
