Volleyball,as one of the three major ball sports items,opening volleyball course in junior high school physical education class can further enrich the physical education curriculum system,which can promote the improvement of students' physical quality and psychological quality.Students can gradually develop the spirit of Chinese women's volleyball team which is tenacious and brave in the process of participating in volleyball.However,the situation of setting up Volleyball Course in the first-line physical education classroom is not optimistic,there are still problems such as low interest in learning and single teaching form of teachers.Therefore,it is very important to explore a new teaching method to change the current situation of Volleyball Teaching in junior high school.This research mainly adopts the methods of literature review,interview,teaching experiment and mathematical statistics.In this study,the author based on reading a large number of literature,combined with the characteristics of junior high school volleyball teaching,the scaffolding teaching method is applied to junior high school sports volleyball teaching.The innovation is to sort out the differences between Scaffolding Teaching Method and conventional teaching method,design different teaching programs according to the two teaching methods,and apply them to junior high school volleyball teaching practice.After nearly three months of teaching practice,the data are collected and analyzed through questionnaires and basic volleyball skills testing.The results and conclusions are as follows.Results: after the teaching experiment,there was no significant difference in physical fitness between the experimental class and the control class;There are significant differences between the experimental class and the control class in autonomous learning ability,volleyball learning interest and volleyball skills.Conclusion: the first is that the two teaching methods do not significantly improve the physical quality of students in a short teaching period;Second,under the guidance of scaffolding teaching method,junior middle school volleyball teaching helps to improve students' autonomous learning ability;Third,under the guidance of scaffolding teaching method,junior middle school volleyball teaching can effectively improve students' volleyball skills;Fourth,the Scaffolding Teaching Method under the guidance of junior high school volleyball teaching can effectively improve students' interest in Volleyball learning,students can be more integrated into the classroom,classroom participation significantly improved.
