"Like Sports" Gym Business Model Research

In China,the fitness industry has been developing for many years.The increasing household consumption standard and smart technology has forced the traditional fitness club to transform and upgrade,and more and more new smart fitness club and fitness studios have sprung up." LIKEFITT " fitness club is one of these pioneers,which not only young but also successful.Today “Business Models” has gained much attention from academia.To apply Business Model theories as powerful tools,this study tries to explore the " LIKEFITT" fitness club.Based on the challenges that LIKEFITT faces in reality,this study starts with its development history review,then evaluates its effectiveness of current Business Model,and provides with advice for future Business Model innovation.Both The Business Model Canvas and Blue Ocean Strategy are applied as analytic frameworks.Specifically,the study takes three steps: Firstly,it uses interview data to paint the canvas of the business model of the " LIKEFITT " fitness club.Secondly,it applies SWOT Analysis to evaluate the business model.Thirdly,it finds some suggestions for the future business model innovation of " LIKEFITT " fitness club.This study provides practical advices for " LIKEFITT " fitness club,and can be taken as a reference for other competitors in fitness industry.
