The main way to promote the construction of ecological civilization is to actively explore the path of environmental protection.Environmental protection policy should be based on the education.Exploring the development of environmental education in the new high school geography curriculum,will help advance the progress of environmental education in China and the development of geography curriculum.The General High School Geography Curriculum Standards(2017 edition)issued by the Ministry of Education has revised a series of environmental education content requirements,and the geography curriculum standards guide the development of school geography education and teaching.Therefore,in order to promote the smooth development of environmental education in the new high school geography curriculum,it is particularly important to compare and study the environmental education content requirements in the new and old curriculum standards.The thesis adopts literature research method,comparative research method,questionnaire survey method and test questions respectively for research.First the research topic of this thesis was set up through literature research.Then made a detailed comparative analysis of the environmental education requirements between the old and new curriculum standards of Geography course in Senior Middle Schools,an attempt was made to summarize the nine outstanding changes in environmental education requirements,namely complementing the content of a national security curriculum,and highlighting the political nature of environmental education;integrateing the content about carbon,nitrogen,and oxygen cycles,and keeping in line with the international concept of environmental education;emphasizing the spatial distribution of natural resources,and highlighting "strategic" mineral resources;outstanding the internal cooperation of the river basin,and focusing on the regional of environmental education;resolving the problems that restricted the environmental development,and enhanceing the application of environmental education theories;clarifing the requirements for the pollution problem,and paying attention to the specificity knowledge about environmental education;laying stress on the importance of the causes of marine pollution,and reflecting the process of environmental education;integratiing the impact of human activities on the geographical environment,and realizing the systematicness of environmental education;deleting the empty content about man-nature harmonization,and simplifing the theory of environmental education.Based on the above changes,this study conducted surveys and tests on some high school geography teachers and students.Combining the previous comparative analysis conclusions,the following countermeasures were proposed to promote the smooth development of environmental education in the new high school geography curriculum:Environmental education,such as paying attention to the environmental education function of the geography curriculum in high schools;establishing the consciousness of "curriculum standard" and correctly interpreting the requirements of environmental education;updating the knowledge system of environmental education in a timely manner to link national safety education with environmental education.(2)Choose appropriate teaching methods,such as problem solving,case teaching method,social investigation method and conduct case design.(3)Taking the professional growth of teachers as a guarantee,and put forward countermeasures from the perspective of the professional development of middle school geography teachers and the training of geography teachers in normal universities.In conclusion,this study tried to analysize the difference between the new and old curriculum standard about the requirement of environmental education.and provided basic materials for the smooth implementation of environmental education in the high school geography curriculum,and thus laid the research foundation for enriching middle school environmental education and geography curriculum theory.
