With the rapid development of economy and society,national mental health issues have received extensive attention from the state and society.Depression,as one of the mental health diseases,is the main cause of human death.The number of patients increases year by year,posing a great threat to people’s daily life.Among them,the incidence of depression among college students is higher than the general population.The college stage indicates that college students will face great changes in their living environment and interpersonal relationships.At this stage,college students are in the "hanging" position of "family weaning" and "insufficient social links",and their world outlook,outlook on life,and values are not enough.Mature and have not yet formed a stable self-cognition system.Due to the lack of attention and understanding of depression,many college students with depression failed to get timely treatment when the illness occurred,and depression has become one of the main reasons for college students’ suicide.Therefore,a systematic study of the phenomenon of depression in college students has important practical significance.This research is based on the practical experience of social work in colleges and universities,combined with literature research methods,questionnaire survey methods,interview methods,etc.,based on ecosystem theory,emotional ABC theory,rational emotional therapy and superior perspective theory,through the depression of college students in S College of Humanities The symptom investigation,select typical cases,conduct social work intervention research on the cases from the perspective of ecosystem theory,and then summarize the thinking and put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.First of all,The author conducted a survey of depressive symptoms among college students in the School of Humanities of S University,uses the SCL90 Symptom Self-Rating Scale as a measurement tool,and measures the depression through three indicators of emotional level,self-worth,and thought and behavior performance and the corresponding 13 questions.It is the conclusion of the most prominent and severe psychological problems faced by current students.It compares the gender,ethnicity and educational background of college students with different depression symptoms,and believes that the depression problem of female college students deserves attention.Secondly,based on work and practical experience,the author selected Y,a female undergraduate student from the School of Humanities of University S,as a research case.After introducing the source of the case,the basic situation,the author analyzes the three levels of the micro system,the meso system and the macro system.The client’s depression performance and causes were analyzed,and the client’s service needs were estimated.On this basis,through the formulation of service goals and implementation plans,activity design and intervention from three aspects: case work,group work,and community work,and finally evaluate the performance of the client’s micro system,meso system,and macro system.It is believed that this social work intervention is fruitful.Finally,based on the case study,the author believes that we should further call on all sectors of society to objectively understand the occurrence of depression,and reflect on the case work method of mild depression college students and the case service model from the perspective of ecosystem theory,proposed that social workers play multiple roles in the concept of "education return to health" and construct a multiple mutual assistance system based on respect for students’ personality.
