Latin dance teachers often regard rumba dance as a basic dance for children to learn Latin dance.It has a good effect on shaping the shape,frame,and sense of dance for children,but rumba dance is also the most complicated for the processing of movement details.Compared with adults,young children are still in the stage of physical development and it is difficult to use various muscles and joints of the body flexibly.Therefore,this article combines the use of props with the teaching of rumba dance for children,hoping to promote children's understanding of rumba dance movements and improve learning efficiency.To expand children's Latin dance teaching methods is of great significance to the construction of Latin dance teaching methods.This article adopts research methods such as literature data method,expert interview method,questionnaire survey method,experimental method,etc.,through analyzing the technical movements and forceful methods of rumba dance,and applying props to the teaching of children rumba dance,in order to obtain an ideal teaching.effect.Forty zero-dance basic students from the Latin dance class of the Cultural Center of Dongyong Town,Nansha District,Guangzhou were selected as experimental subjects and randomly divided into 2 groups for teaching experiments.The experimental evaluation indicators are based on technical skills,with a total of 13 items.The research results after the teaching experiment are as follows:1.The experiment of using props to improve the teaching effect of children's rumba dance is based on a certain theoretical basis,which is scientifically reasonable.In the selection of teaching props,it should be based on the characteristics and usage of the props,combined with the basic movements of rumba dance,highlighting the intuitiveness of props teaching,facilitating children's understanding of complex movements,and achieving the effect of enhancing the teaching effect.2.Children are in the initial stage of physical and mental development.The use of props to teach rumba dance is conducive to enriching teaching methods and improving learning efficiency;improving teaching continuity and guidance;clarifying the dominant position of teachers,effectively mobilizing students' subjective initiative and enhancing learning interest Optimize the content of classroom teaching;enhance the interaction between teachers and students in the classroom,and the teaching focus is more targeted.3.After the experiment,the data analysis of the technical action expert scores and physical abilities(softness,strength,endurance)of the students in the experimental class and the control class shows that the P value is less than 0.05,indicating that the use of props can help students better A good mastery of rumba dance technique can fully mobilize the joints of the body and coordinate the use of various muscles during the teaching process to achieve the effect of strengthening physical fitness.Therefore,the use of props is obvious for improving the teaching effect of children rumba.4.In the process of using props to teach children Rumba,we should pay attention to: design the teaching plan scientifically and rationally according to the basic steps of Rumba dance and combine the characteristics of the props;strictly control the teaching time and understand the students' learning situation in time;summarize the problems in the experiment process Generality,according to the students' specific learning situation to revise the teaching plan and apply different teaching principles.
