A Study On The Influence Of Family Background On Junior High Shool Sudents' Prticipation In Extracurricular Sports Training

To deeply understand the influence of family background on junior high school students' participation in sports extracurricular training,this paper explores the factors in the family background affecting junior high school students' participation in sports extracurricular training,as well as the training expenses.It is combined with real-life sports extracurricular training researches and uses different research methods as literature research,a questionnaire survey,statistical analysis,etc.Based on the data from 801 paper questionnaires,whose participats' children are all students from different grades of six junior high schools in Bao'an District of Shenzhen,we draw the following conclusions:1,6.62% of junior high school students have participated in extracurricular sports training,and the proportion of students with different family backgrounds participating in sports extracurricular training differs greatly;2,Whether Junior high school students take part in sports extracurricular training is affected by many factors of their families.Family's economic level,such as family's monthly income or whether they are registered resident of Shen Zhen,have a significant impact on children's participation in sports extracurricular training;family's social capital factors,such as the father's professional level or the number of times that families accompany their children to do physical exercises every week,have a negative correlation;Family's cultural capital factors,such as mother's education level,has a positive effect on children's participation in sports extracurricular training;3,There are differences in the influence of various kinds of family capital on the cost of student sports extracurricular training.Family's financial level significantly effect the cost of junior high school sports extracurricular training.Among the family's social capital,the frequency that parents accompangy their children in physical exercise every week has a significant postitive correlation with the cost of their children's sports extracurricular training.Among the family's cultural capital,the highest education of the mother also greatly influences the cost of family sports extracurricular training.
