Our country is developing and progressing continuously,and has made great achievements and breakthroughs in politics,economy,science,culture and other fields.Education is the basic field of national development and plays a very important role in the development and progress of a country.As a compulsory basic subject in high school,physics can cultivate students' scientific literacy and logical thinking.As a high school physics teacher,it is necessary to pay attention to the in-depth study of physics teaching methods and improve the teaching effect.This paper takes a middle school in Wanzhou District of Chongqing City as an example to investigate the current situation of high school physics homework.According to the results of the investigation,this paper summarizes the existing problems in physics homework and puts forward the improvement strategy of high school physics homework from the aspects of teachers' and students' understanding of physics homework,homework design,homework layering,homework evaluation and feedback,hoping to provide certain help for physics teaching method improvement and the improvement of teaching effect.This paper first introduces the research background,research status at home and abroad,research purpose and significance,research content and research methods,including literature method,questionnaire survey method,statistical analysis method,interview method.Then introduces the main function of physics homework: it can help students to consolidate classroom knowledge,deepen students' understanding of knowledge,promote students' all-round development,and is an effective means for teachers to understand the teaching effect.At last,the four concepts of physics homework,homework design,practical homework and open homework are elaborated.Then,this paper made a questionnaire for students and an outline for teachers' interview from four dimensions: the design of homework,the understanding of homework,the arrangement of homework,and the evaluation and feedback of homework.Through the questionnaire survey and interview the research understand the current situation of physics homework,and the statistical data analysis,and summarizes the current problems of high school physics homework.The teachers and students do not have a good understanding of high school physics homework,and the design of homework is not reasonable.The homework after class is not set in layers.The evaluation method is single and lack of communication and interaction between teachers and students.Finally,according to the results of the survey and interview,the author puts forward some improvement strategies for the problems existing in the high school physics homework.Both the teachers and the students should set up correct view of physics homework after class.The design of homework should be improved from the following aspects: more typical topic selection,diversification of homework types,connection with life and enhancement of interest.The assignments should be laid out in layer.The feedback method of homework evaluation is improved from two aspects: the diversification of evaluation methods and the treatment methods of students after evaluation.
