Learning strategy has been a hotspot of research for several years. Homework is anextremely important learning activity, and that homework strategy, as one of the learningstrategies, is the combination of learning outcome, cognitive structure and precious potentialof students. Therefore, there are not only practical signiifcances but also theoretical ones todo research on this subject. In this paper, senior high school students were tested for thestudy: ifrst of all, a status survey of senior high school students’ homework strategy wascarried out with self-made homework strategy questionnaire; then, an in-depth discussion onstudents of different strategic levels was made through self-made scenario experiment; lastly,targeted strategy training was conducted. The conclusions as ofllowed:a.The interior structure of senior high school students’ homework strategy includeshomework planning strategy, homework thinking strategy, homework emotion strategy,homework introspection strategy, homework attitude strategy, homework perception strategyand homework anti-interference strategy, altogether41items. The result shows, theself made questionnaire has high reliability and validity.b.The homework strategy of senior high school students is In the upper level,c.The result of self-made questionnaire reveals significant differences among seniorhigh school students in genders, grades, class type and origin of students. In terms of gender,girls tends to be more positive, while boys tend to be more introspective; in terms of grades,the level of homework strategy reduces as the grade rises: the homework strategy level ofgrade one is the highest, and the differences between grade one and grade two in homeworkstrategy is no significant However the homework strategy level of grade three is the lowest,significantly different rfom the other two; in terms of class type, students of arts class andexperimental class are more likely to have a positive perception on their homeworkcapability; in terms of the origin of students,the homework startegy level of urban students,compared with suburban students, is significantly higher.d.The relationship between academic performance and homework strategy level is bwpositive correlation, meaning the level of ho me work strategy could partly explain academicperformance and vice versa.e.Four groups of students: student with good score and good strategy, one with goodscore and improving strategy, one with improving score and good strategy and one withimproving score and improving strategy, are significantly different in total score and everydimensions. Student with good score and good strategy performed best in the homeworkprocessing testf.Homework strategy training would effectively raise the homework strategy level ofstudents. Atfer training, student with good score and good strategy ranks first in thehomework strategy level, signiifcantly different from those whose score and strategy need tobe inproved. Besides that, there’s no significant difference among the other ihree groups.That is to say, the homework strategy training is more effective to student whose strategy isless than satislactory.
