The 21 st century is an era of technological progress and globalization.It is the mission of physics teachers to educate the next generation of students to master science and technology and cultivate talents with high comprehensive literacy in today's society.Among them,STEAM education has attracted the attention and research of a large number of scholars and experts in recent years.In basic education,the STEAM education model is a new concept,which emphasizes: not only to cultivate students' scientific literacy,practical ability,engineering awareness,and the ability to apply mathematics to scientific inquiry,but also to emphasize the humanistic literacy of knowledge and artistry and creativity of education.One of the important ways to learn physics is to explore activities through experiments.In junior high school physics learning,many laws of physics are based on experiments.This research starts from the perspective of physics experiment,integrates STEAM project exploration,adds interdisciplinary learning characteristics on the basis of traditional experiment courses,and innovates junior high school physics experiment courses,so that to stimulate students' interest in physical experiment activities and project research,standardize the steps of experimental operation,improve students' scientific literacy,and cultivate students' thinking ability and innovative consciousness.This research is divided into three parts: The first part comprehensively summarizes the development history and current situation of STEAM in foreign educational developed countries and my country,and then introduces the related concepts and theoretical basis of this topic.On this basis,it is concluded that STEAM education and the requirements of junior high school physics experiment activities in my country's curriculum standards complement each other.There are still many shortcomings in my country's STEAM education,and a lot of research is needed.In the second part,the teaching method,teaching process,evaluation mode,etc.of experimental activities based on STEAM education are constructed;the core concepts of STEAM education are sorted out,and the process of STEAM teaching classroom is listed.It also lists three typical experiments in the measurement experiment "Multiple Methods of Measuring Resistance",the eighth-grade optical part of the exploration experiment "the law of light refraction" and "exploring the law of plane mirror imaging",and the production experiment "the experiment of making fruit batteries".Classroom instructional design case.The third part is to conduct a questionnaire survey on the degree of student satisfaction,analyze the results of the experimental questions in the three exams this semester,and analyze the data.The STEAM teaching mode can improve classroom teaching efficiency,reduce classroom management costs,and change teaching requirements and traditional experiments.An organic combination of lesson learning methods.In my opinion,the main shortcomings during the research period are: the lack of professional numbers and abilities of teachers,resulting in insufficient number of students participating in the research;insufficient thoroughness of excellent case studies on STEAM at home and abroad,etc.In response to the above shortcomings,the author has given relevant suggestions,and hopes to continue to explore and improve with more STEAM learners in the future teaching practice and theoretical research.
