Under the background of the college entrance examination of selected subjects in Shandong Province,statistics show that biology is a popular subject among the six alternative subjects,with a large number of students choosing it.This situation brings new challenges to biology teaching in senior high schools.Due to the low attention paid to biology in junior high school and the gap in biology learning in the third year of junior high school,biology in senior high school is more difficult in both teaching and learning.Therefore,it is of great significance for senior high school biology teaching to do a good job in the connection of junior and senior high school biology teaching content.Shandong Province’s senior high school biology textbook is the PEP edition,and junior high school biology textbooks are PEP,Luke and Jinan editions.Through literature reading,it is found that among the relevant researches,there are many researches on the connection between junior and senior high school biology teaching in PEP edition,but few researches on the connection between senior high school biology in PEP edition and junior high school biology in Jinan edition.Therefore,this topic studies the connection between the teaching content of senior high school biology in the new PEP edition and the teaching content of junior high school biology in the Jinan edition,and puts forward specific suggestions and plans for the connection,so as to provide theoretical reference for the connection of the teaching content of biology based on the Jinan edition.Through the analysis of the current situation of the connection between junior and senior high school biology teaching,the main factors affecting the connection of teaching content are as follows: the change of students’ learning methods and interests in biology,the gap of biology learning in the third year of junior high school,the different versions of biology textbooks between junior and senior high school,etc.In combination with the interviews with biology teachers,we have a more comprehensive understanding of the problems existing in the cohesion of teaching content.On the basis of the above research,taking the high school biology module "Molecules and Cells" as an example,this paper makes a comparative analysis of its content with the Jinan edition of junior high school biology textbooks to find the connection point of the corresponding teaching content.Combined with the connection point,the design of teaching connection scheme is carried out,and the specific case analysis is made on the teaching content in the module of "Molecules and Cells" which is directly related to the teaching content of Jinan edition of junior high school biology,so as to provide reference for senior high school biology teachers to carry out related teaching content connection work.Combined with the results of the study,the following suggestions are put forward for the connection of teaching contents: high school biology teachers should have a better understanding of students’ learning conditions;guide students to adopt reasonable learning methods to learn biology;improve students’ interest in learning by improving classroom teaching atmosphere;frequently communicate with junior high school biology teachers to discuss teaching cohesion issues.Based on the content of the teaching material,high school biology teachers can combine the relevant content of the Jinan edition of biology for teaching design in lesson preparation.
