Problems And Countermeasures In The Patriotic Education Of Middle School Students In The New Era

Patriotism is a firm national spirit and a sense of responsibility to rejuvenate China.In middle school education,patriotism education is also an eternal theme.In 2018,General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized at the National Education Conference: “We must work hard to cultivate patriotism and let the spirit of patriotism take root in the hearts of students.” The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "New Era Patriotism Education" in 2019.The "Implementation Outline" also clearly mentions: "We must regard young people as the top priority of patriotism education,put the spirit of patriotism throughout the whole process of school education,and promote patriotism education into the classroom,teaching materials,and minds." As the builders and successors of socialism in the new era,middle school teachers must first lead and help middle school students to cultivate patriotism.At the same time,we must also cultivate the correct "three outlooks" for middle school students.This article conducts research on the patriotism education of middle school students in the new era through the literature research method and the survey visit method.First,the literature research method is used to summarize and summarize the related theories of "patriotism" and "patriotism education".Secondly,on the basis of sorting out the literature,a survey visit was conducted on the implementation of patriotism education in X Middle School in Yuzhong District,Chongqing City.Through the analysis and research of the survey and interview results,the author concludes that the current middle school student patriotism education still has some shortcomings in the comprehensive quality of middle school teachers,education content,education methods,education coordination mechanism and so on.Finally,in view of the existing problems of middle school students' patriotism education,specific countermeasures for optimizing middle school students' patriotism education are proposed from four aspects:strengthening the construction of middle school teachers,enriching education content,optimizing education methods and improving education coordination mechanism,so as to effectively improve middle school students' patriotism.quality of education.
