From the revolutionary period of salvation to survival,to the construction period of all industries waiting to be developed,to the reform period of rejuvenating the country,there is always a patriotic spiritual force that carries the national heart and soul behind it.Their common goals and demands are to realize the great dream of rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Among them,youth groups with deep patriotism have always played a pioneering role.Today,as the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new historical position,new requirements are also put forward for the cultivation of patriotism.The “Outline for the Implementation of Patriotism Education in the New Era” issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council points out the direction of patriotism education in the new era.It is of great and far-reaching significance for cultivating the patriotism of the Chinese sons and daughters and promoting the great cause of national rejuvenation.The outline clearly states that “it is necessary to make young people the top priority of patriotism education,to permeate the spirit of patriotism throughout the whole process of school education,and to promote patriotism education into the classroom,teaching materials,and minds.” By firmly grasping the main channel of patriotism education,ideological and political theory courses,based on the“joint booting stage” of the adolescent stage,can continuously lead the youth group to establish national consciousness and cultivate patriotic feelings.Therefore,to explore the important role of high school ideological and political courses in patriotism education,to further respond to the shortcomings of the combination of high school ideological and political courses and patriotism education raised by the actual situation,and to propose targeted and constructive corresponding countermeasures,are what we need to focus on in teaching.Based on this,this article starts research from three parts: The first part is the relevant theoretical analysis of patriotism education in the ideological and political course of high school.Firstly,defines the concepts of patriotism,patriotism education and patriotism education in high school ideological and political classes.Secondly,clarifies the important task of patriotism education in high school ideological and political course which is to impart patriotic knowledge to deepen patriotic awareness,cultivate patriotic rationality to enhance patriotic feelings and establish patriotic responsibility to guide patriotic behavior.Finally,expounds the significance of improving the implementation effect of patriotism education in ideological and political course in high schools.The second part is to understand the status quo of patriotism education in high school ideological and political course through student questionnaire surveys and teacher interviews,summarize the existing problems and analyze the causes of the problems.Firstly,analyze the data of the questionnaire and comment on the actual results of the current patriotism education from the three levels of students' patriotism awareness level,patriotism emotional cultivation and patriotism behavior practice.Secondly,bases the results of teacher interviews and analyze that the current high school ideological and political education patriotism education still lacks systematic teaching design,the process and the practice carrier are out of touch,the content is limited to textbooks,teaching methods are not attractive and some students receive the effect of patriotism education badly.Finally,from the perspectives of teachers' own quality and ability,the characteristics of students' physical and mental development,and the complex and changeable social environment,the reasons for the patriotism education in high school ideological and political course are analyzed.The third part is aimed at the problems of patriotism education in high school ideological and political course,five specific countermeasures are proposed to improve the effectiveness of patriotism education in ideological and political courses of high school:improving the quality and ability of ideological and political teachers,changing the methods and methods of patriotic education,exploring the content and resources of patriotic education,enriching the practice carrier of patriotic education,and improving the evaluation system of patriotic education.
