The report of the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that moral education is the fundamental task of education.Moral education point to students' core literacy and emphasize the comprehensive cultivation of students' knowledge,ability and attitude.Core concepts are the most important and critical knowledge content in the subject knowledge framework system.Implementing the understanding of core concepts will help students deepen their understanding of geography knowledge and enhance their ability of thinking in geography,which is an effective way to cultivate the core literacy of geography.Nowadays,with the rapid development of social economy,the traditional teaching method of knowledge coverage is no longer applicable.Paying attention to the cultivation of students' ability has become the trend of international education.Unit teaching breaks through the limitation of class hours,integrates,reorganizes and optimizes the fragmented teaching content,and makes the teaching content structural.Exploring the unit teaching design of geography from the perspective of the core concept of geography can help teachers to plan the course teaching systematically.Students participate in a series of unit teaching activities,and through continuous thinking and exploration,they can obtain a well-structured subject knowledge framework system.According to the cognitive-structural theory,five-stage teaching method,meaningful learning theory,referring to previous research results on core concepts and unit teaching design,and combining with the current situation of senior geography teachers' cognition of core concepts and unit teaching,this study puts forward the strategy of unit teaching design in senior high school geography under the guidance of core concepts: based on overall design is the starting point,focusing on teaching gradient is the key,and pointing to core literacy is the fundamental.Based on the instructional design strategy,this paper further puts forward the design process of geography unit instruction in senior high school under the guidance of core concepts,and expounds in detail five aspects: theme design,goal design,method design,content design and evaluation design.Then choose the chapter "Country and Town" to carry out the unit instructional design under the guidance of core concepts,and evaluate the instructional design cases,so as to confirm the rationality of the instructional design strategy and instructional design process proposed above.Finally,the conclusion and prospect of this study are made,and the shortcomings of this study are reflected.
