Case Practice Exploration Of The Current Situation And Predicament Of Family Caregivers Of The Elderly With Dementia In Rural Areas

With the aggravation of the aging process and the prolongation of life expectancy in China,the problem of care for the elderly needs to be solved.Especially with the increase of dementia in the elderly,the problem of care for the elderly with dementia is becoming more and more serious,which has brought a heavy burden to the family and society.In particular,the caregivers of the elderly with dementia need to be taken care of by others because they have entered the stage of old age.In the face of elderly family members with dementia,they have to take care of the daily affairs.Caregivers are often overburdened and bear huge economic,physiological and psychological pressure.Therefore,it is urgent to pay attention to and support the family caregivers who provide life care and emotional support for the elderly.Through the field investigation in s village,this study found that the physiological function of the family caregivers of the elderly gradually degenerates with their own age.Facing the complex and heavy care work,they are lack of skills and difficult to take care of the elderly and their own small families.The relationship between family members and friends is gradually alienated and separated from social life.Long term care seriously affects their health Heart health and quality of life.Due to the lack of corresponding support,the burden of care responsibility and the ensuing pressure can not be effectively released and eased,thus falling into trouble.In rural areas,the situation of family caregivers is even more so,facing more complex and severe difficulties.Based on this,this study starts from the ecosystem theory to analyze the current difficulties of the family caregivers of the elderly with dementia in rural areas,and uses the method of case work to intervene in the family caregivers,and then according to the existing problems and difficulties,constructs the corresponding support system from the micro,meso and macro,so as to improve the current care difficulties and relieve the care pressure,So as to improve the quality of care and quality of life of caregivers.
