Exploration Of Services For The Elderly With Mild Dementia Under The Ecosystem Theory

From unknown to the fifth leading cause of death in the world,the horror of dementia is present in fresh cases.Loss of mental health,accidental death,unbearable carers and other news have aroused close attention from the whole world..Dementia has become an important disease that endangers the health of the elderly and impairs the quality of life.At present,no drug or method has been really developed to cure dementia,but related studies show that non-drug therapy has positive effect on retarding the process of dementia.Based on the guidance of ecosystem theory,this paper,taking the case of mild dementia as an example,synthetically applies professional working methods to integrate community home pension service resources.Break away from the previous practice of focusing on a single object or problem when intervening in such group services,the service is carried out from the multi-system level,such as the client(micro system),the family,friends and neighborhood(mezzo system),the community,the social policy(macro system)and so on,to promote the benign interaction between the case owners and other systems,and to postpone the development of the illness course.The micro level focuses on the relationship between the patient's physical and psychological characteristics and the dilemma of the owner's problem.The service focuses on the relief of the emotional state of the client and the correction and inappropriate exercise of improper recognition.At the meso level,it is difficult for the original social support network of the client to provide effective and powerful support power,so the service focuses on strengthening the existing social support network and building a new social support network.The community atmosphere is relatively indifferent and the service design is based on the construction of the comfortable community atmosphere to promote the understanding and support of the community for the mentally retarded elderly.Through practical exploration and innovative service perspectives,the positive effects of the service strategies set under the guidance of the ecosystem theory were verified,and the methods available to social workers in the services of the elderly with minor dementia were summarized,and the three-point service experience was summarized including establish a professional relationship of mutual trust,the enhancement of the social professional's professional comprehensive ability,and the effective use of the social support network,and further elaborated the corresponding strategies and techniques,with a view to providing effective reference for other social workers to carry out practical or research.
