The mathematics curriculum standard in compulsory education stage emphasizes the close relationship between mathematics and life.Mathematics is a language and tool gradually formed as an abstract concept of objective phenomena.The more important subject value is more reflected in the value and function of real life.Mathematical application problems are solved by quantitative relationship in the context of real life.Mathematics problem solving has become one of most typical ways to enable students to link life and mathematics.With the deepening of mathematical research on representation,how to cultivate representation of mathematical word-problem in primary students is more worthy of our discussion,which is in line with the needs of students' cognitive development.This research adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and case analysis.On the basis of clarifying the connotation of mathematical application problems and mathematical representation ability,this paper analyzes the close relationship between them,and probes into the significance of "cultivating students' representation ability through mathematical application problems".At the same time,this paper makes a case analysis of several middle and high-level applied problem teaching courses in primary schools,and conducts in-depth interviews with several primary school mathematics teachers in combination with the survey results of the influencing factors of pupils' mathematical applied problem representation ability,focusing on the current teaching situation of cultivating pupils' applied problem representation ability.The conclusions are as follows:First of all,the representation ability of mathematical application problems for primary school students is influenced by the students' personality and psychological factors,cognitive structure,thinking quality and teachers' teaching.Secondly,understanding the current teaching of cultivating the representation ability of primary school students' mathematical application problems by the teacher interview is aimed at summarizing the achievements and problems in the teaching context and analyze the causes of these problems.Finally,combined with the results of survey and interview,and the teaching experience of excellent teachers in the teaching cases,this paper puts forward some useful teaching strategies to cultivate the representation ability of mathematical word-problem for primary students with the guidance of educational theories: in the "reading and understanding" link: attach importance of the characteristics of pupils' cognitive development to stimulate their interest in representation;improve their cognitive structure and provide the basis for representation communication by reviewing old knowledge.In the "analysis and answer" link:strengthen the training of learning strategies to promote the generation of representation;balance the main body of representation to realize the students' active construction;the representation methods should be diversified to lay the foundation for the comprehensive application of representation.In the "summary and reflection" link:guide students to summarize the key representation methods and the whole problem-solving process;at the same time,integrate family and school as the symbolic education resources of influencing factors of students' representation ability training.It is hoped that these strategies can provide some valuable reference for primary school mathematics teachers to cultivate the representation ability of primary school students' mathematical application problems,so that students can boost their self-confidence in representation under the guidance of teachers,and choose appropriate representation methods to carry out representation communication,representation transformation and representation application in the solution of application problems.
