Fine arts education cultivates talents for social and cultural undertakings of our country,arouses infinite inspiration of people,and enables them to acquire various abilities needed by contemporary and future society.Meanwhile,fine arts education is a prominent means to improve the national cultural and artistic quality,build a beautiful China,create a better life and shape a better society.It is also one of the crucial approaches to promote moral education,aesthetic education and quality education in school education at all levels.As a special measure in China's ethnic education policy,the Tibetan classes in mainland has provided a large number of outstanding talents of ethnic minorities for the economic construction and development of Tibet and achieved positive results in the past36 years.While its discipline system is constantly improved,it is also facing reform and development.An investigation and research on fine arts education of Tibetan classes in mainland is not only due to the lack of current research,it is rather because that the fine arts education concept of the world is constantly updated and that of the Tibetan classes in mainland is also in urgent need of reform.It is also expected that the ways to improve the quality and benefit of Tibetan classes in mainland could be found through fine arts education.Fine arts education plays an important role in developing people's innovation consciousness and ability,improving aesthetic appreciation and humanistic quality,cultivating cross-cultural ability and respect for cultural diversity,and promoting comprehensive development.However,does fine arts education in Tibetan classes in mainland fulfill these functions? Based on this,this study took two schools A and B as cases to conduct field investigation.At the micro level,the thesis presented a realistic picture of fine arts practice of Tibetan classes in mainland from four aspects of school culture,education process,education effect and teacher team,summarized the existing problems at the present stage and put forward countermeasures and suggestions.At the macro level,this study started from the perspective of how fine arts education can train high-quality talents for Tibet in the 21 st century,inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture,and consolidate the consciousness of Chinese national community,so as to realize a new understanding of the value and purpose of fine arts education.At the macro level,the thesis realized the recognition of the value and purpose of fine arts education from the perspective of how to train high-quality talents in the 21 st century for Tibet to inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture and promote the consciousness of Chinese national community.This research is divided into five parts:The first part,as the guide of the full text,firstly introduced the background,concept,content and method of the research,which lays a theoretical foundation for this research and clarifies the research issues.Then,through field investigation,it presented the cultural ecological features of the school location of the case and put forward specific investigation methods.The second part described the purpose of education.The goal of fine arts education should be the dual attributes of both ethnic education and fine arts education,which is to train people for Tibet,people with deep patriotism and people with comprehensive development for Tibet.The third part included educational process and educational effect.Through field investigation,this part aimed to understand the curriculum and teaching implementation status of fine arts education in Tibetan classes in mainland,as well as the feedback of students' learning effectiveness,so as to confirm whether fine arts education has achieved the educational purpose as scheduled.The fourth part is the exploration of the factors affecting the implementation of fine arts education in Tibetan classes in mainland.Through the investigation and research on the construction of teachers,it pointed out that the ethnic identity of teachers,the role of teachers,the professional quality of teachers,educational concepts and skills are the internal factors that affect the fine arts education in schools.Then,it put forward the professional standards of Tibetan classes in mainland,put forward the reform ideas for the construction of teachers.Through the investigation and study of school culture,this part pointed out that the "lack of aesthetic feeling" and "single culture" of school culture limit the development of fine arts education,put forward the way of school culture construction of "educating people by aesthetic education".The fifth part,a summary and research inspiration,revealed the contradiction between the ideal and concept of fine arts education and educational practice of Tibetan classes in mainland,emphasized the significance of national culture,and clarified that fine arts education should undertake the historical task of consolidating the consciousness of Chinese nation community.
