With the rapid development of science and technology,society has had more demands for innovation-oriented and technology-oriented talents.People have attached more importance to cultivating students' scientific competencies through education.All countries in the International community have continued to reform the curriculum standards,and HPS education has become the product of the era.HPS refers to History,Philosophy,and Sociology of science.International science education circles assume that integrating these three aspects into education and teaching enables students to understand the nature of science and also plays an important role in cultivating students' core literacy.Thus,this paper integrates the HPS education concept and high school physics teaching content,redesigns the teaching case based on HPS teaching mode,practices and finally summarizes the case.This paper includes the following five parts:The first chapter is the introduction.Firstly,this chapter introduces the background of the research topic selection and analyzes the HPS education at home and abroad by consulting many literature and works.It is found that there are few studies on HPS in the field of physics in China,and also some deficiencies.Therefore,the research direction of this paper is to integrate HPS education mode into physical education teaching,thus aiming to enhance students' interest in learning.The second chapter discusses the definition of basic concepts and theoretical basis.This chapter defines the connotation of HPS,teaching design,and HPS education and clarifies the research content.The paper conducts the research based on constructivist learning theory,humanistic learning theory,situational teaching concept,and the concept of new physics curriculum standard.The third chapter is about studies into integration of HPS with senior high school physics class.Firstly,based on a questionnaire survey on the integration of HPS into the high school physics classroom,this chapter analyzes the integration of HPS in teaching,arranges the HPS resources in the High School Physics Textbooks Compulsory One(Shandong Science and Technology Edition),and selects the high school physics teaching content that is suitable for the HPS teaching mode,thereby providing a teaching reference for the case design based on the HPS teaching mode in the follow-up content.The fourth chapter is about design and practice of senior high school physics teaching based on HPS teaching pattern.Based on the appropriate teaching content from the above research,the paper accomplishes the teaching design of "Newton's first law" based on the integrated mode,and then the teaching design of "Newton's second law" based on the dialogue-based teaching mode.Taking Grade One(Class 13)and Grade One(Class 14)as the research objects,the paper establishes a control group and an experimental group.The control group adopts the traditional teaching mode,while the experimental group adopts two kinds of HPS teaching mode.After the case practice,a questionnaire survey is conducted on the two groups,and the statistical data is analyzed by using the SPSS software.The experimental results show that the experimental group has a deeper understanding of what science is;by analyzing the final examination results of the two groups with Excel,the research finds that the final examination results of the experimental group are 5.7 points higher than those of the control group,indicating that HPS teaching mode has a certain effect on improving students' academic performance.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.This chapter summarizes the research content of the paper,concludes the advantages and disadvantages of the paper,and prospects the integration of HPS into teaching based on the requirements of the new curriculum standards.This research finds that integrating HPS into the physics classroom has the following effects:(1)Two teaching cases are designed based on the HPS teaching mode,thus enriching the physics teaching methods and providing a reference for front-line teachers' applications of HPS.(2)The research can help front-line teachers deeply understand HPS education,and integrating HPS into teaching can arouse students' more interest in physics learning,allow students to understand the nature of science,and improve students' physics performance.
