With the rapid development and widespread application of mobile Internet technology,Sina Weibo has become an emerging channel that can compete with traditional information publishing channels.Users can gain more and more voice and can use Sina Weibo to publish information anytime and anywhere.Commenting,which makes the spread of hot events on Sina Weibo face a more complicated environment.The Sina Weibo platform has gradually become a hotbed of public opinion fermentation and group polarization.After the outbreak of social hotspot incidents,extreme speeches frequently appear,and the frequency of online group polarization incidents has increased significantly.The group polarization phenomenon of hot events on Sina Weibo has both positive and negative effects on the country,society,and individuals.On the one hand,it reverses the resolution of the incident and promotes the public's active participation in social discussions.On the other hand,it is likely to produce Network violence,human flesh search and other negative effects,some network group polarization incidents will even turn into real-world group actions,resulting in more uncontrollable adverse effects.In this context,group polarization has not only become a hot phenomenon in information dissemination in the era of new media,but also an important pain point in information dissemination.This article mainly uses the case analysis method to summarize and summarize 20 cases of Sina Weibo hot events in the past five years,and to comb and analyze the overall content,analyzing it from the four aspects of emotion,group,development process and group viewpoint.Characterization,when analyzing the causes of group polarization in hot events,it is found that whether the phenomenon of group polarization occurs in hot events is related to many factors such as society,platforms,media,and individual netizens.First of all,after analyzing the case,it is found that group polarization in Sina Weibo hot events presents a clear expression of emotional communication.Compared with positive emotions,hot events containing negative emotions are more likely to cause polarization.Most polarized groups have a weak "position" and can easily change their original views;people with strong empathy and sense of substitution should also note that ordinary individuals have become important builders and promoters of hot events.At the same time,hot events on Sina Weibo do not become hotspots as soon as they are published.An event becomes a hot topic of discussion,and it is inseparable from the joint action of various forces and factors.Similarly,the phenomenon of group polarization in hot events is the same.Event reversal is undoubtedly a reverse group polarization.Generally speaking,hot events with reversal will also have two polarization processes.Secondly,group polarization is essentially a strengthening effect of existing tendencies,and the Sina Weibo platform makes this approach more and more "perceptual."
