With the deepening of the new round of curriculum reform and the new middle school examination reform,the problem of teachers' professional development has become the key factor affecting the success or failure of the reform.The new educational situation has put forward higher and updated requirements for teachers' professional development.This paper based on the present situation of middle school teachers' teaching and research,adopts questionnaire method,interview method and case method,mainly studies three aspects: first,mastering the present situation of middle school teachers' teaching and research through questionnaire;second,deeply understanding the existing problems of middle school teachers' teaching and research through interview method and attribution analysis;third,conducting case studies on excellent teachers X teachers and W teachers with good teaching and research and professional development;fourth,putting forward corresponding countermeasures to the problems existing in teaching and research.It is found that some teachers have strong consciousness of teaching and research,many achievements of teaching and research,and good professional development of teachers.However,most teachers have heavy teaching tasks,insufficient teaching and research time,lack of understanding of teaching and research methods,insufficient teaching and research ability,and think that the form of teaching and research content is single,teaching and research conditions and school teaching and research work are not perfect.Teacher burnout affects teaching and research,and then affects professional development.Based on the findings of this study,we put forward the following suggestions:first,strengthen the construction of teachers' teaching staff,to help teachers establish professional development consciousness through training,to strengthen the study of research methods to enhance teachers' research ability,to cultivate teachers' reflective consciousness,to broaden the research content and to break the development comfort zone and to be the master of time management to improve teachers' professional development;Second,from the external environment,through perfecting the school-based teaching and research system,strengthening the guarantee of teachers' teaching and research,strengthening the effectiveness of school-based teaching and research and advocating managers to take the lead in teaching and research,Enrich the content of post-service training and improve training methods,so as to promote the professional development of teachers.
