Mathematics is a fundamental subject,it is not only a tool that combines methods and techniques,but also a science full of artistic beauty and logical rigor.But in the context of fierce competition in society,most front-line teachers and middle school students are forced by the pressure of the middle school entrance examination and the college entrance examination to simply define the mathematical learning results as test scores,and the talent training model is easy to make students' interest and motivation gradually weaken.Scholars and experts in the field of mathematics education have begun to pay attention to the dissemination of mathematical culture,and the school curriculum of mathematical culture has also come into being.The Mathematics Curriculum Standard of middle School(2011)highlights that mathematics is an important part of human culture,mathematical literacy is one of the most basic qualities that every citizen in contemporary society should have,and the education of mathematical culture should penetrate into the process of middle school mathematics education,so as to improve students' interest in learning and cultivate students' mathematical literacy.Due to people's lack of comprehensive understanding of mathematical culture,there is lacks of mathematical culture in the teaching practice of mathematics education in China,so the development of the School-based Curriculum on Middle School.Based on these conditions,there are following research questions:(1)How should the School-based Curriculum on Middle School Mathematics Culture based on Ancient Greek Mathematics be optimized?(2)How has the implementation of the School-based Curriculum on Middle School Mathematics Culture based on Ancient Greek Mathematics affected students and teachers?(3)What are the problems in the implementation of the School-based Curriculum on Middle School Mathematics Culture in the middle school stage?The case design and practice of the study are mainly studied by literature research method,questionnaire survey method,action research method and interview method.First of all,study literature and analyze the current research status,moreover according that to Explores the design principles of school-based curriculum content in mathematical culture and Based on the history of mathematics in ancient Greece to design a series of special topics about mathematical culture.Then,Through the preliminary questionnaire survey to understand students' existing mathematical learning attitudes.Next,according to the relevant materials and jointly discuss with front-line teachers the special topics of the school curriculum series of customized mathematical culture based on the history of mathematics in ancient Greece and carry out educational practice.The practice is divided into two stages,the first stage is interviewed with the teachers who are in the auditor,combined with the interview results and classroom feedback to find a summary optimization strategy,the second stage is based on the optimization strategy and the front-line teachers jointly design the school-based curriculum topic and practice,the outstanding teacher is interviewed again after the end of the diversiform practice to understand their suggestions and gains.Finally,the author conducted a comparative analysis of the data of the collected student questionnaires,combined with the results of the teachers' interviews,came to the following conclusions:(1)The School-based Curriculum on Middle School Mathematics Culture of mathematical culture should select content materials that conform to the basic principles of curriculum design,and the course content must be optimized for the purpose of improving students' interest in learning and cultivating mathematical literacy.(2)The School-based Curriculum on Middle School Mathematics Culture based on Ancient Greek Mathematics has had a positive impact on teachers and students.(3)In the implementation of the Schoolbased Curriculum on Middle School Mathematics Culture in the junior high school stage,there are still problems such as people insufficient understanding of mathematical culture and shortage of human resources for development.Schools that solve such problems should attach importance to mathematical culture education,regularly carry out relevant teaching and training,and they should enhance communication with students and parents.Based on the above conclusions,the school-based Curriculum on Middle School Mathematics Culture series of this study can provide a reference for the implementation of the mathematical culture school curriculum in junior high schools,and put forward reasonable suggestions for teachers to integrate mathematical culture into the school.
